As a Canadian the real joy (Gold) was beating the US in the semi. Could have been ok with seeing Sweden and Caroline win the gold after that. Class act to face the media so soon after. Sweden were the best team at the tournament.

I am Canadian and happy that our women won Gold but at the same time felt gutted especially for Caroline Seger. She & Christine Sinclair are great leaders that take losses with grace & dignity. I will be cheering for Sweden to win the upcoming women’s World Cup! Sweden ladies have nothing to be ashamed of. They were the best team in the tournament!
It was brutal to see her so sad after she missed properly her last kick in an Olympic Games. Silver in Tokyo and Rio.

I've honestly been way too heartbroken over this defeat (and I still am) so I haven't had the heart to torture myself with translating this. BUT I've started on it and I might upload it later today or in a few days.
