Honestly - thank you. As others will know, it’s up and down but small words of encouragement (even from KZread users) are so appreciated. Admittedly, I’m not religious but I completely understand the comfort it may have given you. But being around religious people and religion is comforting, even if you’re not a fully signed up believer. I hope you’re all well and happy. I’m sure you’re lovely people - you must be, given that you’ve been so moved by this tragedy. Such a seemingly beautiful person that was suffering. 😢😢😢

Yes! Ahh Caroline, so so sad. I never watched any of the shows she presented so didn't have much of an opinion on her but now that I'm on this marathon I discovered a sweet, kind and caring young lady. This is actually very sad indeed. Kinda scary that 4 suicides have been linked wth people working for ITV - is there something we are missing.

@Jonathon Roberts She caught him cheating & reacted in heat of the moment through blind rage, it was completely out of character from her and I know she instantly regretted it & was genuinely sorry, hence why her bf forgave her & tried to stop the trial. You can tell she was 99.9% of the time a sweet person to be around from every interview she's done & every tv show she's presented. She made a huge mistake but you don't know how you would react to something that causes you anger you've never felt until it happens.

@Jonathon Roberts Not excusing her behaviour at all men react in similar moments of blind rage although I do agree with you that men get less sympathy in the same situations with the roles reversed which isn't right. Anyway Caroline was a lovely person couldn't care less if you think different I won't hold a moment of 0.1% of her life where she snapped as opposed to the other 99.9% of her life where she was one of the sweetest, kindest girls in the tv industry.

@Jonathon Roberts No one is acting like she's entirely different, if you've seen her on TV over the last decade though & don't think she was a nice person then you've got a serious misjudge of character, because there's no way with the amount of hours she's been on tv she could have kept that persona up if she wasn't a nice person, same with all her social media interactions. She was more vilified than OJ Simpson ffs & he murdered two people. She made a huge mistake in a moment of madness through blind rage & for that to define the rest of her short life afterwards is a crying shame, have a heart man

I'd much rather believe that than the filthy tabloid newspapers that bullied this poor woman to death. Also her boyfriend denied she hit him... He was twice her size I doubt he couldn't have defended himself over a minor dispute. I bet the fact that he called the police on this vulnerable woman will haunt him for the rest of his life. Julie Keegan it’s also heartbreaking to read the message her family has published today that Caroline wrote recently but was told not to publish it. I can only assume it might have been her management team. Everything I’ve read about her is unbelievably sad because we had no idea what she’s been going through for so many years

Only she is to blame! No CPS fault! No ITV fault! No Love Island fault! Physically attacking someone with a lamp while he is asleep!!! She could have caused him serious injuries! And when the police got involved, it became completely different story! What was she thinking? That he would not ring 999? And anyway, even without his statement, they can take his 999 call, and the state of his injuries and her flat and also footage from the police body worn cameras as evidence! I honestly think if this was not domestic related incident, CPS would just drop charges if the victim was refusing to make a statement.

I have never felt this impacted by a celebrity death as I have Caroline Flack 💔 she has such a joyful laugh and presence to her. Its so sad she was driven to do something like this. Too much pressure and stress in the end with the court trial coming up next month, the media hounding her and of course losing her job on Love Island. She had apparently waited for her friend (who was staying with her) to go to the shops, she then locked up the house so she couldn't get back in and by the time Caroline's Dad had got there with the spare key she had taken her life. Its so sad, I know she suffered with prior mental health issues like anxiety and depression(which I have also had, like many others out there) and unfortunately what's happened to her recently had definitely manifested it all and the poor girl couldn't take it. RIP beautiful lady. X

Caroline is a beautiful women and what happened is so sad. Everyone needs to open their eyes and realise that words do hurt! Torturing someone in their lowest moments is what drives people to suicide, we need to sort ourselves out before pointing the finger at other people! I hate that this is happening to such beautiful people before society actually takes notice of what's going on. I hope the sacrifice of this beautiful soul shows people to #bekind x

It's the law. CPS can no longer drop DV charges because of so many victims being coerced or forced into dropping them by their abusers out of fear, intimidation or threats or false declarations of "it'll never happen again" from the perpetrator!

Don't blame the CPS. Their policy on pursuing domestic violence cases regardless of the wishes of the complainant has been brought about by the campaigning of deranged feminist politicians and women's rights groups. I've seen little sympathy displayed when a man's life has been destroyed by it.

It wasn't the CPS that killed her that was something she could have faced & consequence of whatever happened that night.... It was the Press/Tabloids & Social media trolls that have been bullying her & vilifying her character for years. This poor woman was more vilified than a murderer or a paedhophile. The media have reported Caroline's death. Fair enough. They should now leave her family and friends alone to grieve. Because she physically abused her BF, and based on the evidence collated and submitted by the police, the decision was taken by the CPS that there was a strong enough case against her to warrant pressing ahead with the trial, with the likelihood of securing a conviction of assault by battery pretty odds-on. Had this been the other way around and the BF has bludgeoned her, I very much doubt you would be advocating sweeping such a serious allegation under the carpet because in doing so, and in a lot of cases, the abuse would more than likely have continued - if they've done it once and gotten away with it, they're likely to do it again. Celebrity or not, rich or poor, black or white, man or women, abuse is abuse and it's totally unacceptable behaviour and it's not to be tolerated in any form whatsoever. It might come as a shock to a lot of folk, but the victim in this case of domestic abuse was the BF, and NOT the perpetrator/GF. Abuse against men is alive and real and evading justice as she has done does not absolve her from the seriousness of the charge(s) that were filed against her. The inconsequential nature of your original post is very concerning considering the statistics pertaining to the number of reported incidents and mortality rate regarding domestic abuse victims, both male AND female. The sheer amount of double standards and hypocrisy is mind-boggling. Actions have consequences, and ultimately, you (us as human beings) reap what you sow.

@@marchowes7872 (Assault) hitting someone, and (abuse ) are two very different things, as far as I am concerned , secondly she said it was an accident, and he said Quote" she did NOT hit me with a lamp", (I presume the LIE. that she had done so,,was published in a so called newspaper?, ) so plenty of morons believed it, he also said he was NOT a victim!, so no crime, as for a crime to have taken place there HAS to be a victim, BUT the CPS wanted a show trial, having a go at yet another well known TV personality keeping the "witch hunt" going on that has been running in this country for a few years now!, so unless all the people having a go at Caroline were all in her flat at the time, and saw for themselves EXACTLY what did happen, which means her flat is a lot bigger than I remember it!, then I suggest they stop believing everything they read or hear on the news!, and remember that some of her friends, colleagues, acquaintances, etc who knew the real Caroline on and off screen might just get to see such hurtful comments, while trying to come to terms with the loss of a loved one, and thus not be very impressed,.and as one of those I can tell you I was not. but don't worry I do not expect a "sorry for your loss", that would be like expecting to see the truth and facts of anything they report on printed in a news paper.
