I have known the name, Carolina Herrera for years, but I have never focused on her fashion history. However, while looking at KZread channels, I found this channel that focused on this fashion icon. I am 74, and after watching three videos, I have decided to change my style to simplicity and elegance. Thanks for sharing this information. I am looking forward to watching more videos.

Caroline Herrera is the rare person I admire. I agree with her philosophy 100 percent.

My mom was Cuban via Spain heritage and she was elegant and had impeccable taste. When I was young I didn't appreciate it and now I live it as much as possible. I loved this video and Carolina Herrera is amazing. Thanks for posting it.

So much wisdom in this video! I'm constantly drinking water, my water bottle is always next to me. I drink between 3-4 liters a day. As we age, we have to reevaluate what our hair styles are, having short hair is not always best, but it will determine how healthy one's hair is. It's more difficult to make hair work past one's mid 50's due to hormonal changes, but some women manage.

Hydration AND a balanced, nutrient dense diet are KEY to excellent health. Exercise is also a must for anyone who is interested in taking a comprehensive approach to health and well being. Spiritual and emotional health are just as important. I agree with all the points made in the video-- especially as it pertains to makeup and hair styling. There is so much excess these days-- tacky tattoos, overstuffed stretch pants that look like sausage casings bursting at the seams, overdone eyebrows, lashes that look like a caterpillar, piercing of every body part possible, and crazy wigs/hairstyles. People are doing the most to look their worst, yet think they are exhibiting a unique and individual style. I wish we could return to the days of modesty, glamour and true class when it comes to physical appearance.

In our hyper consumer culture it is nice to be reminded that there are timeless values that can not be purchased but must be cultivated from within. I'm happy this video showed up in my feed. Thank you! ❤️

I have always liked Carolina H. Her elegance inspired me as a young woman and now at retirement age, more. I do watch influencers. They are creative and fun. The good ones do include elegance in their style. Some go a little overboard with designer purchases. Others embraced the oversized look which can present them as shapeless. That is what they like. As your advice says, best thing is to know what looks good on our bodies. Choose well and have fun presenting the best version of yourself. That is a challenge but I try. define "weird haircut" I have a faded pixie haircut with side skin fade. I respect one's opinion if s/he doesn't like the look on me. I have pierced ears - one hole for each ear, no other piercings. I do and wear what makes me look and feel amazing.

What are the fragrances that were supposed to be linked in the description? I don’t see them.

It's not how much water one drinks per day, it's how you drink it. Each of us have different needs of volume. As long as one's urine is colorless and not yellow and deep yellow, you could say you are hydrated.

Consistency in pronouncing [Caroleena (long e) vs Carolina (long i)] and spelling: [Carolina vs Karolina] someone's name is also very elegant. Attention to details is a simple way to maintain elegance and not seem crass.

Hmm, elegance varies from countries and cultures. A nose ring in India is elegant. A woman who has tattoos can change her state of mind and become elegant. Now if you are referring to the western part of the world I would agree with you. Everyone has an opportunity to become elegant in all regions. It’s as much a question of the implementation, appropriateness and culture. Since the point of this video is Carolina’s style, it just doesn’t fit. Jeggings may look cute at the gym but would look bizarre and not elegant with a Chanel jacket.

I lost my house, my cars (I had two nice Jeeps) I lost 70% of everything I had in my house! I was homeless for 2 months! All while my haters started telling people I stole their idea! The link for her perfume sends us to Amazon. I personally will NEVER buy perfume from Amazon again! You can’t trust the vender to be honest. There are some out there that sell knock offs of the original product. Trust me... I bought a very expensive perfume from Amazon and could tell right away it was not the same scent at all. There are too many venders who are out to make a lot of money by scamming buyers. I now buy all my perfumes from reputable stores.

I think Meghan chooses the wrong silhouettes and fabrics for her body type and she alters many of the original designs, destroying the overall intended look. Not to mention Meghan’s color choices, who in their right mind constantly chooses beige to wash themselves out. I wouldn’t blame Carolina’s designs for Meghan’s lack of fashion sense and horrid style/taste.
