Carolina Crown 2024 Drops The Hammer at the Cavalcade of Brass [Inside the Circle Audio]
Carolina Crowns 2024 Hornline playing their new tuning sequence, recorded 6/30/24 in Lisle, IL.
Thank you to the Crown staff and members for letting me capture this awesome audio
HQ Audio and KZread:
While this audio was recorded in a lossless audio format, KZread is not able to stream audio at nearly a high enough rate to handle it. As a result, the audio has been compressed by YT algorithms to play at around 250kbps, while the original audio would need an equivalent rate of 4,608 kbps.
If you would like to download the original file with uncompressed audio and video, you can download it here:
www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/kh1i2q...
(note you will need to download VLC Media Player or find another way to play .mkv files)
Stats For Nerds:
Recorded in 4k60fps ProRes on iPhone 15 Pro Max (48mm) with Apple LOG
Audio Recorded with Zoom H6 XY Stereo capsule, 24bit/96kHz .WAV
Note: I accidentally set the gain a little too high / the hornline was so loud that you might hear a little bit of artifacting even in the uncompressed audio. It was also quickly darkening so the first half of the video was under exposed until i noticed, and the second half has a lot of ISO noise. Learning as I go :)

Always loves how Crown’s brass sounds like an organ with all those in tune brass the overtones are insane! This is definitely starting to sound like Crown pre-Covid!

“Original Work” by John Mackey. Not sure it has an official title yet as he wrote it just for them.
