Carol Burnett: Leslie and Linda Amherst - Drunk Sabotage
Original Air Date: October 19, 1970
Another play gone bad. Before they were Funt and Mundane they were Leslie and Linda Amherst. Here is one of their early sketches.

A drunken Carol falls so many times and she trusted them to catch her each time! 😅😅😅
The best thing about the Carol Burnett Comedy is that the first time you see it it is so hilarious, and the next time you see the same episode it becomes more hilarious...never seems to get boring...One of the greatest Comedy ever.
He was so good. He could pretend to be anyone. He'd always have those little mannerisms that certain characters always portray.
53 years old and it's still hilarious! Timeless.

This generation can't even comprehend the incredible talent and chemistry these entertainers had together. It was a privilege to watch, dying laughing every time
Thank you to whoever is putting these on . With this virus and all we need to laugh.

I wish I could go back in time, anything is better than now, to see true talent and live in a more moral and motivated society. I wish I had a time machine.

Yes, I see this "I wish I could live in the more moral time" comments regularly. I don't mean to be a spoilsport, but the Vietnam war was going on during this taping, people were openly bigoted towards Asian, Blacks, gays, etc, President Nixon was corrupting the government, and more. Bottom line is, people in 1970 thought the world sucked and longed for a more moral time, just like people today do.

Admit it. We all tried that cheek-pop thing after Carol did it.

TY for posting. I watch these at least 3 times over. I love the frustrated look he has, as he tries to keep the act going for the crowd. "Curtains you fools'
Harvey will always be the one. Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a talented actor. So underrated.
Carol Burnett had the BEST faces! This show is such a joy to watch!
Great starting my day with a laugh. Thank you Carol and Harvey
I laughed at this 50 years ago, I'm laughing at this today. Too bad they didn't use autotune. LOL.

Thanks for the upload. I'm from Germany and the Carol Burnett Show unfortunately was never aired there. But some german producers have stolen some sketches and the same sketeches were aired in Germany with german actors. And at that time 70th/80th nobody imagined that this sketches were stolen from this US. show. Interesting facts.

Carol is acting like a child funny
didnt like this one much. She over acted and tried way too hard to be funny. She didnt do this much though. She was great. The rest of the cast was even better. Harvey and tim carried the show. Harvey deserves way more respect for what hes done.
