As someone who played many Carnivores mods and followed the modding scene for over a decade, Triplex is probably one of my favorite mods of all time. From the hunting roster, the weapons, and the two yet perfectly toned areas, Triplex is slowly becoming a mod that will be cherished by the community in the long run. Triplex blends the less story focus elements, or more actually monotonous theme, of the old mods like Desperation and Abandoned Islands and the relatively modern design philosophies of using Carnivores style (or FMMUVian) to create something that we both paradoxically have and haven't seen in Carnivores modding community. Older mods suffer from painful gameplay due to a combination of overpowered dinosaurs and underpowered weapons- a result of many young players using debug as an element of hunting- and newer mods have been expanding their pallet of inspirations and slowly moving away from the FMMUVian style. Of course, the latter is not on the same level of horrible gameplay, it's wonderful for modders and artists to create new styles and most of these modders works are amazing and can seemingly merge into the world of FMM UV-32 without sticking out, but the trend is noticeable. And I’m glad that I’m not the only one who notices the nostalgic atmosphere of Triplex existing. For me, it reminds me how I felt when I played Carnivores: Desperation- an all time favorite mod- as a child and I haven’t been so absorbed into playing a Carnivores mod in a long time.

Yeah this is exactly how I feel about it. Its super unique and really doesn't get as much credit as it deserves, even in Beta 2.

Oh that was beatiful, honestly this gave me some huge vibes of 2000s game reviews, with the more raw looking footage and only subtitles, the video format works really well with what Carnivores is and does, would love to see more videos from you like this in the future. Triplex is a great mod that perfectly captures what it feels like to play Carnivores, it's simple, but so fun and imersive, and your video captured that with a great precision and i gotta love seeing a mod like this getting the attention it deserves to have, i'm lacking words to describe how much i appreciate what you have done here, congratulations for bringing back all these nostalgic memories, may this game live for much longer :)

Also, glad to hear the swamp variant of Sinosaurus spooked you a couple of times. I made its skin for fun trying to camouflage it in the swamp map and Zerer asked if it could be used in Triplex’s next update 😁 Again, fantastic showcase, can’t wait for the next one man!!

My lord, this was a really nice mod showcase you pulled off! I loved how not only you reviewed and spoke about the content the mod has to offer, but also giving your thoughts on it. I love this style of your showcase, and if you're planning to make any more, I'd love to see what else you have in the works because these are organized, calming, and, this might sound weird, but aesthetically pleasing. Although I must say I have to slightly disagree with your final thoughts. I say slightly because you did bring up a very good point about Triplex playing as the big nostalgic mod for us thanks to its atmosphere and stylistic choices. But I also think that the mod has the right to be storyless. I personally find that the fact it's lacks much of a present story is nice to think about, because, at least for me, it gives even more nostalgic flashbacks to when I was a child playing Carnivores, not really caring about the story and more so because I was able to hunt dinosaurs. And I think for me, that's what gives the mod a more nostalgic replicant, it was made for fun. But nonetheless, those are just my two cents as to what I think, Triplex is a beautifully amazing mod that I love playing, and I'm glad that you reviewed such a great mod that deserves the attention.

I can definitely see myself as a list modder for Carnivores. I do have some ideas on suggestions for new creatures, make sounds for them, and concept art. One I have in mind currently is Monolophosaurus, but I have plenty more. What I have to say about Triplex? It looks fantastic! I do love the post-apocalyptic setting of the Eponymous Triplex sector while nature is strongly recovering. The roster of huntables and ambients are great too. My favorites are the Stegoceras, Olorotitan, Sinosaurus, Alioramus and Labrosaurus. Would love to see more of it when it gets updated, since it is still in development.

Is Argentinosaurs the largest dinosaur in all of Carnivores lore or is there a bigger sauropod?

This mod keeps crashing on me, as does any mod that uses the M.E.E. Engine. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Bit goofy they named it the Over-under shotgun, the model even looks like one but functions as a single shot break-action shotgun. Looks like a great mod regardless.
