Nice glad yall got on some surf. There has been a Northeastern blowing for a few days and marine forecast is calling for off shore winds possible for sat and Sunday! So I will be paddling out for sure. Super cool to find some clear water fun waves no matter the size! Glad your friends are safe and look forward to your next episode!

Easy long term fix for the throttle. Drill through handle and shaft and place a roll pin through. If no roll pin you can use a small bolt/screw. That way you wont bugger up the shaft with the vise grips.

As usual absolutely loved your vid. Hopefully Your Friends are ok and the vessel can be easily repaired. Grenada was the first time I encountered frigate birds, so cool! Carnivale is much like Junkanoo in the Bahamas. Loud, fun & colorful! Good reason to drink. Oops, did I really say that?

Sweet Sweet Jetty has the life. Two great humans to take good care of her, meeting & greeting pups from around the world & take amazing hikes & Island tours. Well deserved, wish all dogs could live this kind of free spirit life like Jetty. 🐕🌴💜🏄🏿🍀😊 (scary to think about what could have happened to your friends & their leaking boat...makes you really reevaluate your emergency plans to make sure everyone is in the loop to look after you should you not arrive at your destination in a timely fashion. Glad they are ok).

I know I said so some time ago, but wow, I cannot get over surfing on transparent waves. How deep is the water there, because wiping out and hitting that bottom would be scary. The entire surfing sequence was great. I am relieved that your friends are safe, and I hope their boat can be made right soon. Knowing that they were successful, I look forward to their story.

Loved the surfing-mostly due to the smiles on your faces. Can’t imagine the relief y’all felt when Beau and Brandy made it in. As a viewer of both your channels I know my concern couldn’t have approached your own.

Beau & Brandy's totally scary experience was quite a close call for them. Luckily those fishermen came along and gave them that "stuff" to help seal up the cracked hull enough for them to sail to safety. Hope you have some footage of your time with them coming up soon. The water at that surfing spot was so crystal clear!

That was some adventure they had with the cracked (slit) hull. Luckily those fishermen had that under water repair epoxy and they were able to contain the leak.

No doubt pulling the anchor up by hand is a pain. But looks like a fantastic workout LOL

carnival goes on for 2 days in the morning is jouvert or jab jab however u can call it , then when jouvert is finish it time for fancy mass in the afternoon n then in the night is monday night mass and same thing goes on the next day

I'll be interested in seeing how a manual windlass works. What's your current anchor setup (what anchor, how heavy, all chain or rope/chain rode)? Anything will be an improvement over pulling it up by hand...

I see you picked up a "Guide". That was our only real complaint about Granada. You can't walk anywhere without someone trying to "help" and not leaving you alone. We eventually just paid him to leave us.
