The Splendor's incident is nothing compared to the Carnival Triumph. The Splendor had a crankcase split open. The Triumph had a fuel oil return line burst open causing fuel oil to leak onto a hot surface and ignite. If Carnival knew the Triumph had the potential for fires they should have immediately put the ship into dry dock to fix the problem before their image was hurt.

Cruise Blackout...a new experienced at sea

I was on the ship for the previous trip. We all waited a long time at the last port for LATE passengers and it put us behind schedule for our return. The ship had to high speed it back for an extended time and I think it overheated and caused the fire. IMHO

I love carnival cruise lines. And those complain about carnival. Your just nitpicky and stuck up. Carnival crew,staff and ships are very pretty and well maintained. People need to realize cruise ship sail 365 days a year non stop. Like all man made things. Things break or break down. And they get old or need updated from years of use. Just like a car. People have these high expectations and ideas. Carnival does a remarkable job keeping their ship maintained and serviced. But, they can't for see future or know if something's going to fail or break. You take this risk in everything you buy in life. My dad bought a brand new car. And his new car was in the shop 5 times. Due to kink's. It's a gamble and risk. As I said I live carnival they crew is professional and goes out of their way to keep all guest happy. I understand people get upset or mad. But don't get rude with the workers on the ship. On my last cruise I heard one guy get so rude with guest services. I was so shocked. People need to remver we all are humans. And things happen and mistakes to. You will get further in life being loving, respectful and calm. Then treating people poorly. Yes, we might not be happy things change or things we look forward to fall threw. But, that's life and its doesn't always go smoothly or as planned. When you learn this lesson . You live a more joyful and filled life

And people complain and badmouth Norwegian CL.

I found that NCL and CCL treated their customers much better than RCCL, however, I also heard that most other cruise lines are better than these three.

Royal Caribbean and Princess are so much better that Carnival
