So very sorry for your loss. Cats become such an integral part of your life. 17 was a good long life. He knows he was loved. 😻😹💝😿
The zipline in Icy Strait it the best.
Awesome vlog and photos. Thanks for sharing
Those whale shots are AMAZING!!!
Oh, and those whales breaching = WOW!!
Oh YAS!! I LOVE those socks, NAUTI but NICE!! That might be me at times! ;)
Enjoyed the nature shots!
I love this, thanks for sharing💕💕💕
Dees pics were stunning, very active whale 🐋 day.
So sorry for your loss .That cat was a very loving cat . I liked his personality
And this is why we love Carnival. Cruisers represent at the dance parties or any party. Princess, not so much.
I was on this cruise the same time as you and Dee. We did some hiking in Hoonah, went to the Tribal dance and ate some delicious crab. I went whale watching Saturday in Juneau. Congrats on winning the Rock trivia. 👍Erin the cruise director was great. Did you guys go to "Deal or No Deal" show? thanks for sharing and bring back some great memories. 😊 Dee your still photos were excellent.
Thank you for introducing us to Teresa and Sean, we did the 6 person boat, it was amazing!
We loved Icy Strait point in June. It was amazing watching the whales. Love it there. Great video.
Love love love this series! Because of yalls recommendation we did the whale watching at ISP during our Spirit cruise this past June. The dancers did an amazing job and I’m glad you posted them on the video. ISP is an amazing port and I want to include this port on my next Alaskan cruise . Thank you! This brought back so many amazing memories! Love it!!

Me too, my son is in playlist cast on spirit( he is the dancer with the curly hair in 80s pop to the max who doe the solo to True) people’s holiday videos are the only way we get to see him perform so we are very grateful for great videos like this. It’s also great to see the ports, activities and people having such a great time. thank you Parodeejay
Haha when you said 'I am duck' and 'I am wolf', all I kept hearing in my head was 'I am Groot'. 🤣
Wonderful video of your day. Thank you for sharing. Love the whales and the breaching.
I laughed out loud at “Hello Felice”

You two are the best! I love watching all these great videos! Really want to go to Alaska now
Good morning. Thanks for sharing. Everything was amazing.
What a really beautiful place
You guys are awesome! Enjoy you immensely! Look forward every day for your vlog.
Loved your whale experience. Another fantastic video. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with me here in Wollongong, Australia, at 3.48am. Love waking up to your videos.
Amazing photos Dee. I want to go to Alaska NOW!
I really want to go back to Icy Strait Point. Poor Michael didn't get to see this port when we were on Radiance of the Seas.

Definitely! Always a favorite stop for us... so sad that he didn't get to experience it!!
Good Morning 🌅 I love y'all ❣
I feel like I am on the cruise with you guys. Awesome job!
I just saw your post about Mojo and I want to say how very sorry we are.
Love.
You guys look like SO much fun. I would love to hang out at an 80s party with you! :D
We were so luckily seeing that many breaches in a row! This was my favorite excursion of the whole trip. 🐋

@@Lacostelp you are correct, but I was on this tour and they jumped out of the water three times. That is a breach.

@RaabeReviews You must not have looked fully at the thumbnail or watched the actual video. We definitely had some breaches!! :P
Wow!!! I don't remember seeing any killer whales in any of your videos this summer. We saw orca as well as humpbacks out of Juneau many years ago
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
The only place we've seen orcas so far was Seward in May 2022 back in our Radiance OTS vlogs... no luck other than that!!
Fun fact: my husband always orders that sushi boat for 2 and eats the whole thing himself. 😆
Good morning ya'll
When we plan our Alaska cruise, Icy Strait Point is definitely going to be on the itinerary. Y’all ALWAYS have great whale watching there! Also, Her name is Faline. 🦌 😉
You can sleep after drinking regular coffee??? Lucky you.

I have a friend going to Alaska in 2 weeks on a cruise. I hope she sees whales while she is there.
Good Morning! Been waitig for this one! I'll be there next week on the Spirit too! Dee, do you take Bonine for the whale watching? I also booked with Teresa...

@Barbara P Awesome! Yes, Bonine can be helpful on the whale boat as well, though Dee hasn't needed it in most cases. The water there tends to be pretty smooth overall. That was our first time going out to the "swirly" zone, ha ha!! :P ~Jay

@@parodeejay That swirley zone was interesting, wonder why it was doing that... it was cool though..
We are going to icy Strait point in October would you recommend the whale watching that late in the season?
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
They’ll probably already be on the move to Hawaii at that point, so you might have lower odds of seeing loads of whales, but there are usually still some hanging around. Hmm.
D&J I see on this video you received what you called the declaration form for Victoria. Is that the form Canada requires to be filled out before entering Canada? We are cruising to New England in Oct. And were told a we need to fill out the " enter Canada" form 72 hours before we embark but our first day in Canada is day 5 of the cruise. Is this something that we will get when we are on board or is your declaration a different form? Thanks loving your videos.
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
That’s a different entity called ArriveCAN that needs to be completed 72 hours before you set sail. That can be done on their app on online. Then once onboard, you’ll also get that paper declaration form to complete by a certain date which they’ll tell you.

Thanks, all still so confusing. I was hoping they would at least drop the testing requirements. We are going into NYC a couple days ahead so testing will be tight. Thanks for the info .very helpful. Rock on..
Close -- Faline!
I be on Spirit next week havent cruised since Covid What should I try to eat on cruise? What port has good crabs
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
For crabs ashore, most people's pick is Tracy's King Crab Shack in Juneau, which is basically at the cruise port... super convenient! We've included our stop there in the upcoming Part 4 of this vlog series. Food onboard, there's the "included" array of things like Guy's Burgers, breakfast & lunch burritos, deli sandwiches... but one of our faves is still the upcharge Bonsai Sushi!! :D
Faline! :)
Question: When did you complete your ArriveCAN info.?
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
Within 72 hours prior to the cruise, that's the earliest it can be done.
Our port got changed from Skagway to icy strait, we were the only ship there on Princess spent not even 2 hours off ship it was so boring. Never again
@parodeejay
Жыл бұрын
If you stayed at the port, totally understandable. We always get out and try to experience a little bit of Hoonah nature!!
