    I was on this cruise the same time as you and Dee. We did some hiking in Hoonah, went to the Tribal dance and ate some delicious crab. I went whale watching Saturday in Juneau. Congrats on winning the Rock trivia. 👍Erin the cruise director was great. Did you guys go to "Deal or No Deal" show? thanks for sharing and bring back some great memories. 😊 Dee your still photos were excellent.

    Love love love this series! Because of yalls recommendation we did the whale watching at ISP during our Spirit cruise this past June. The dancers did an amazing job and I’m glad you posted them on the video. ISP is an amazing port and I want to include this port on my next Alaskan cruise . Thank you! This brought back so many amazing memories! Love it!!

    @Barbara P Awesome! Yes, Bonine can be helpful on the whale boat as well, though Dee hasn't needed it in most cases. The water there tends to be pretty smooth overall. That was our first time going out to the "swirly" zone, ha ha!! :P ~Jay

    They’ll probably already be on the move to Hawaii at that point, so you might have lower odds of seeing loads of whales, but there are usually still some hanging around. Hmm.

    D&J I see on this video you received what you called the declaration form for Victoria. Is that the form Canada requires to be filled out before entering Canada? We are cruising to New England in Oct. And were told a we need to fill out the " enter Canada" form 72 hours before we embark but our first day in Canada is day 5 of the cruise. Is this something that we will get when we are on board or is your declaration a different form? Thanks loving your videos.

  • @parodeejay

    @parodeejay

    Жыл бұрын

    That’s a different entity called ArriveCAN that needs to be completed 72 hours before you set sail. That can be done on their app on online. Then once onboard, you’ll also get that paper declaration form to complete by a certain date which they’ll tell you.

    For crabs ashore, most people's pick is Tracy's King Crab Shack in Juneau, which is basically at the cruise port... super convenient! We've included our stop there in the upcoming Part 4 of this vlog series. Food onboard, there's the "included" array of things like Guy's Burgers, breakfast & lunch burritos, deli sandwiches... but one of our faves is still the upcharge Bonsai Sushi!! :D
