No problem. I am so glued to this carnival ride, so excited to see the out come of it.
I learn so much from your learning process, it's amazing! Fresh home-electronics technician here and I love the simplicity of these rides. I have no idea about all the mechanical bits, but the more I watch and do research the more I lean. Also: This series is going for quite a while (wich I love btw). Just wanna throw in a quick suggestion to start numbering your episodes. It also makes it easier to suggest certain episodes to us. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride. I just love it.

Glad you enjoy it! Thanks for the suggestion, in the absence of episode numbers , if you go to the playlist they do appear there in order. kzread.info/head/PL9JRE2uksm9tonX17TZt38K6RH2EnDNf1

Great to see the project continue. I was going to ask if you took patterns until I saw you created the whole car in cad. Nice work.

Thanks Gene. I've been talking to a local company about laser cutting the plywood sheet- unless I get sticker shock from the price!

You may want to check out Harbor Supply. They can custom cut MDO giving you perfect finish with a pre-painted white.
Hello, I m following you carnival build and I would like to find a project. Something for children 12 and under. Something similar to your project, but I haven't had much luck. Besides Craigslist where are the best places to look. How to reach someone who has one rotting away in their backyard? Thanks and great job on the project!

I found both of these by just telling everyone I knew that I was interested in restoring a carnival ride. I finally told the right friend who had a friend with 4 in his backyard. There are also several carnival ride sales groups on Facebook that I am a member of. But they are few and far between.
Two questions. You think both restorations will be up and running before the end of summer. And you planning on any more restorations after these two are complete?? I'm fascinated of you're work. Keep up the great job Pete. I been following you since day one. I love these restorations.

My goal is to have the rocket done before fall. It is the main focus. The combo ride I just work on when I'm waiting for parts, help, or supplies on the rocket. The combo is going to need a lot of fiberglas work and I hope to tackle that over the winter.
why are you going back and forth
