We were on the last sailing before dry dock that disembarked on Oct 8th ..so that was a very short dry dock.I believe they replaced carpets in the cabins because they were taking the bed frames down and removing them from the rooms.Not much looks different to me but I didn't pay much attention to bars or coffe shops. The lido buffet looks the same and the pool deck doesn't look any different.Our dining experience was the best part of our cruise , we were seated with 2 other couples at dinner and we are now facebook friends with them and 1 couple lives only about an hour from us. Also our waiters were amazing my granddaughter would get up and dance with them. Pretty entertaining lol. We really enjoyed the Paradise and Tampa is a great port. I was happy to see a video after the update...and my youngest granddaughter will be so happy that the eggs are still there. !!

I’d go with the Martini and Mule bar….. it’s right BEFORE the comedy club. In front of it actually!

The casino is bigger and looks beautiful! Everything looks like it’s sparkling. Lido Deck looked the same. Bars and restaurants looked the same to me too. My daughter lives at Pizza Pirate whenever we are on Paradise, so that’s not new. Nothing beats the wait staff on Paradise! They are great! Love the clubs especially the Latin club, in the evening the crowd is small and fun. Great music! Is your cruise director Todd? He was our cruise director 6 weeks ago on Paradise. He was the absolute best cruise director on any ship anywhere, so fun! Love Carnival because there’s always something going on. It really is the most fun cruise line

Honestly have not met the cruise director yet…. I’m a casino guy…the comedy club is huge though and you can show up RIGHT BEFORE the show starts… no need to arrive an hour early like on other ships. Overall very positive review so far at the end of day 2 of 6!

I agree that the wait staff were amazing, Our head waiter was Dewa and he catered to my granddaughters choice of food which wasn't exactly on the menu, as she has problems with texture of foods but he made her so happy!

I was on the Paradise this past Jun and had a blast. Your video brought back some great memories. Most of what you showed was already on the ship. I think the only new thing I saw was the candy shop. It was a short dry dock so they couldn't have done much.

I sort of like this era and look. Our biggest problem on the Glory, (built in '23), was the food. On October 1st, we were the first passengers to be served the new menu, and it was not great.

This is the LAST cruise on the old menu and it’s better than expected so far, not by a little but by a lot!

Any tips on how to go about setting up your comp'd cruises. Can I leave the 2nd guest as TBA or how long do you have to change this info. Also if you are a no show will they bill you for the full fair of the cruise? Thanks in advance, new to having free cruises. Have 3 booked already for 2024, still have more I could use. 🚢

Legit do it ALL the time…. Leave them as TBA… you need to add one BUSINESS day before the sailing, if they no show you get the taxes and port fees back! You do NOT get the deposit back BUT you already got it in onboard credit!

Thank you for the tour, the updates look great. But yes it has a 90s vibe no doubt about it, however it doesn’t look a damn thing like Excalibur/Luxor…

Never sailed before… I would have guessed so, but just showing the CURRENT bars as the list online is a bit “outdated”. Says that the Leonardo is still the cigar bar and not the Spanish music bar.
