The Uber and lift situation is crazy. As the usually use the passenger drop off lanes. What I have done in the past is have Uber take the “Queen Mary” entrance instead of the Cruise Ship Terminal and drop you off there. Is about little less than 5 minute walk to the cruise ship entrance. 👍🏼

My party of 5 were on the Panorama this past June and we experienced the same with the Lyft drivers. We had booked 2 cars and then right when they were coming to the hotel they canceled on us. This happened twice. So we had the hotel to call us taxis and it was definitely the traffic. We figured that’s why they canceled 😡 bit our guy got us there, he was great!

I'm hearing the simple fix is to go to the Queen Mary for a drop off and ask to be dropped off at the parking lot. It's only a few hundred foot walk to the back entrance of the parking structure to drop off your luggage check. UBER and LYFT need to fix this... It's not fair to us as a customer. I will be sailing out of Long Beach in May, and will be addressing this issue again... Thank you for watching!

I agree 💯 regarding ride share. I had Uber drop my request 3 times in a half hour and it caused concern with my credit card company and they put security hold… caused so much chaos

I think the ability of drivers to decline a ride is fair. The customer gets to view the fare in advance of booking and can choose not to book, they can also cancel if it is taking too long to match to a driver. The driver deserves to be compensated fairly and as an independent contractor can choose the routes they wish to take. The driver knows the total fare before accepting but doesn't see the route until after accepting which is why you see drivers cancelling after accepting.
