I’m homesick watching the video but I can only identify 1952 to today. 72 years old and I went to a lot of Mardi Gras parades and parties!!!!! Both as a little kid and a teenager until I joined the Marine Corps in 1970. Didn’t get home much after that. I was heartbroken to see what Katrina did to the city. I cry when I see the videos. But I love the FOOD!!!!! Fried oysters on a po’boy, oysters on half shell, gumbo, jambalaya, boiled crawfish, shrimp and crab all eaten with ice cold Dixie beer!!!! Do they still have Dixie beer there????!?😋🥹🎉✝️👏🍾

This is so cool! I'm a musician and I was wondering if I could please use some of the footage here for a music video for an original song I wrote about the Mardi Gras :) Please let me know! Thank you - long live NOLA!

@@visit_hnoc My goodness! Thank y’all for sharing it for sure. Us younger musicians usually get to hear about those days, we rarely get to actually hear it
