Poor Dee. I have the same kind of thing. I travel with muscle relaxers and a muscle stem unit if I get knotted up while traveling. And I also don’t relax well either. I’ve had massage therapists scold me in the middle of a massage “can you please relax”. 😹

Another amazing video. As you know I was there right along with you. I have no idea how I missed a power outage lol but I did. Editing Jay is a master magician making the food on Freedom look edible. It was terrible y’all. TERRIBLE!!! My next cruise is a Royal cruise. Can’t wait to compare. I do not go on cruises for the food there was plenty of other stuff I loved about freedom.

We had frequent brownouts on Mardi Gras. Such a fun new activity!! :P

I spent the entirely of my last cruise sitting in that same area by the stack that had that blowing sound coming out. I didn’t notice it until announcements came on, and that noise while you were eating ? I’m very lucky those noises fade into the background for me usually.

Lots of good eating on the first blog. Jay where did you get the finger socks? I sure hope your back is better Dee. Second blog for dinner you both looked very nice and the hot pepper socks were nice. It all went pretty quick. Glad the light were restored in the ship!

i can only cruise having a balcony type room .i did a porthole window once nope didn’t worked for me .i love St Thomas but it has gotten so commercialized . u can’t go down the road without swarms of people trying to sell you jewelry .

Question! Which of the Caribbean islands have US cell service? I appreciate it. I am going on a Western Caribbean cruise on May 21. Don’t want to risk turning on cell and get hit with foreign charges as the data rolls in. Thanks in advance!

Any US territory, so places like San Juan, St Thomas, and St Croix are the only three that really come to mind. We also have Mexico and Canada in our plan which helps!!

Cruising on Mardi Gras tomorrow, I noticed that you get the vegi Indian often…I got it once on a fantasy class ship and it wasn’t very good…do you recommend it on the Mardi Gras…I love Indian cuisine… love my curry yummy! Please I’ve me your thoughts….I miss the tandoori on the Dream

Never tried it on Mardi Gras that I recall, as we only really went to the dining room once, hah. It’s been good every time I’ve had it, but it’s up to the chef what they want to make, so it’s different every time!! ~Jay

That uses regular wi-fi via a laptop browser, so that’s not quite the same thing, apparently. Otherwise, we’d have to wait until arriving back in port on debarkation morning to test, which we’ve done before!!

What did you do to your back, Dee? Are you okay?

Probably stressed it out with the hiking, but it’s an old persistent injury that had gotten better for a few years!!

I hope Dee's back issue calmed down… So hard to have anything wrong when you're cruising😞🛳

The Heart of Soul has better effects and the production looks better on the Carnival Freedom, on the Pride they were sitting on stools, no outstanding effects.
