Oh yes teenagers. Makayla’s friends that have never cruised always say “you’re so lucky”. But after almost 20 cruises it’s old news for Makayla. Hector and I it’s Christmas Day every time!

Just the walk on the Lido brought back great memories of our cruise on the Breeze. My little girl was 4 at the time. You walked right past where she stole the show and started dancing to the embarkation music. We didn't even know she could dance. It was so memorable and forever etched in my mind.

Yes! Our 20-something kids were not as excited as we were when we got on the ship on our last cruise. But i think that’s bc they we out late the night before and we had them up early😀

Thank you as always for another great video. We went on the Breeze in May this year as a last minute trip. It was almost free by the time I used my points from my Carnival cc. I chose the Breeze for 2 reasons... My husband doesn't like long cruises (I was looking at 7 nights on Vista) and I had heard great things about the ship. Don't know if its my favorite, but it was nice. We chose a cove balcony for the experience and enjoyed it more than we thought. The weather was rough as there were many storms that week, but that made it extra fun!

Galveston has got to be my favorite port, no matter the ship. I love the waterfront, food, and the fact I can get up and watch the ships come in. We always stay at the Harbor house too, just for that and being able to walk to port. Always easy to get through, too, or at least it has been for me. Only drawback is that ride from Houston to the port.

Love the Dream Class ships

Took my 3-year old on her first cruise in June, and she was so excited. We will be going on the big cruise in January with your group and every time she is reminded she get's so excited. To the point, I have had to hide her suitcase, as she drags it out and goes to the door to leave.

HA we stayed at that same hotel at the same time!!! How did we not run into each other??? lol

I here ya on the air conditioner we have had people tell us that we live in a freezer 😅, we keep our thermostat at about 68-70 during the day and drop it down to 60 at bedtime. Can we still bring sodas on the ship to our room.

That is so true. I am SO excited when we get on the ship and my daughter (who is 17) really couldn't care less. She is not a big fan of cruising, (I don't know how we are related). LOL. My son who is 15 and Autistic, enjoys it. I also travel with my Mom, who is 78 and she likes it as well. Since we travel as a family and I make the plans, they have no choice but to come along for the ride. What stinks is that I get casino offers from both Carnival and Royal and none of them want to come with me. LOL

Our last 3 cruises my wife and I ask ourselves why do we even take our teenagers! Ha. I can totally relate to the parents being the kids and the kids being boring adults.

Hey Sharon, thanks for all of the videos. When travelling to the express lot, which lane do you drive through to get to the lot at the Port of Galvelston? ("Terminal 2" lane or "through traffic" lane?)

Thundertots are only on ships with the Guys Pig'n'Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse (Horizon, Panorama, Mardi Gras). Trust me, I'm more disappointed than you are. BBQ is my favorite food on the ship and finding out Carnival Magic won't have them was devastating. Strange why not all Pig'n'Anchor have them.

Carnival Breeze was my first experience sailing with Carnival. I have only been on RC. Wow, such a difference. I did not enjoy the ship, food service at all. Rather surprised as I had higher expectations.

How much is things like Lobster in Galveston? Or if it's cheaper in places like Cozumel are you aloud to bring live lobster back on board with you? Or other types of fresh seafood to bring back with you once your cruise is over?

No, you can't bring anything back with you on the ship, but sometimes, if on an excursion, you can ship things to yourself back home like if you go fishing in a port you can have your catch cleaned and shipped. And usually things are still expensive, even in a place like Galveston.

They should of made 1 more Dream class ship or 1 more vista class ship ( have it base in Ft. Lauderdale , 8 days to Limon costa , colon panama / 8 days east w/ st. kitts

The non smoking casino is a TESTER casino to see if it’s worth adding Non smoking casino’s, do they make as much money as the smoking casino….this is in several ships/testing.

What's common as to how much luggage you can take? One bag only or can you add a backpack to it?

You can take as much as you want. You drop larger bags when you arrive at the port and you carry on smaller bags. The bags you carry onto the ship have to go through x-ray machines just like at the airport.

Sharon I hate that I hit returm before he said no bun... I am gluten free as well and I just don't get the gluten free bread on carnival, just not my preference (its actually aweful) but its all wonderful out side of that

Yes we did, from Houston Hobby. Not cheap, but we loved having our own vehicle. We parked at the Port of Galveston parking lot at the Port.

Shorter cruise, 2 port days where we knew we would drink off the ship. The math just didn't add up for this cruise.

Carnival has 2 channels that show movies all day..not first run type movies, but some can be interesting and you might find some pay per view movies on newer ships as well.

We had a balcony cabin that accommodated 4 people. It had a sofa that made into a bed and also a upper bed that pulled down from the ceiling, as well as our one big bed. It will be shown in some of our other vlogs coming up.

On this cruise, they did..but they laid out a few ground rules to be followed to stay in the older group, and every ship and situation can be different.

I think they really take it on a case by case basis. When my son was a highschool senior he was bummed he would technically be too old for the club at 18. We went and talked to them and they let him in. Yeah, he was 18, but still a highschooler like the 17s.
