Whether it is Tamil or Telugu or any other Indian language, we should be blessed to have had such saintly people who were of paramount chastity, purity, devotion and character. Although Telugu is my mother tongue, I consider Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam or any other Indian language as the same (in India mother's sister is equally revered as equal as one's mother). A language is something which should have been developed with the intent of reviving and improving humans' destiny. Be it any language in the world, should be respected. All the languages have at least few common words or must have been developed from the same ancestral one, which means that their journey started at the same source, but like the rivers of life, they all tuned, altered, modified, improved themselves for the benefit of mankind. Their ultimate destination is salvation. Endaro Mahanubhavulu...Andariki Vandanamulu...!!!

I know very little about the nuances of Classical music. Yet, I could not but feel amazed by her voice modulation and her ability to capture the meaning/feelings embodied in the words. Thanks for the wonderful rendering of Thyagaraj Kritis.

Muthuswami Dikshitar was born to a Tamil Iyer Brahmin couple Ramaswami Dikshitar( and Subbamma! Telugus like all languages. Many speak all Languages in Chaste Telugulu ! Luckily Beethoven Mozart Bach were born abroad. Otherwise ..

There is no Lingo Minority. .blah Blah! Its blown up! The state was ruled by a Malayalee MGR &VN Janaki for 10 years. Later by Karnataka born Jayalalitha and by (Andhra Origin) Karunanithi alternatively. This cannot happen in Andhra or elsewhere! Tamil Classical Singers sing compositions in all Languages and just one or two Tamil Thukkadas only. But rarely Telugu singers sing in any Language other than Telugu and Sanskrit. Still they are welcomed by Chennai Sabhas! And its well known that the Carnatic system originated from Tamil Panns,Prabhanthams & Silappathikaaram! Even Pithamaha Dr. Sripada Pinakapani used to call Carnatic is but Thanjavur Sangeethamu! So .. Fanatisam has origins elsewhere. Not Tamilnadu. Thank you for accepting Dikshidar as a Tamilian.
