"Chill-archy" needs to be trademarked 👌

My favorite joke of the show. Somewhat dark, especially considering the chef is Somalian.

"EscoffiGAY!" Richie was so childish.
1:25 that little laugh of Jeremy for was totally real, my opinion...
0:26 was that coordinated 😂 I thought one of the actors said that when I first watched lol
The arcade game sounding off in the background is amazing.
Just noticed how the video game dialogue syncs up with whats going on in the scene like when cousin comes in and starts making fun of everything "youve been cockblocked"

Rewatching this scene after watching season 2 really drives home the incredible character development of this show!

As a chef myself I absolutely enjoy this show. The way the kitchen scenes are filmed makes you feel you’re a part of it.

"I was in a brigade once..." "What happened?" "... many people died." "See Jeff?"
I worked FOH in restaurants and bars for over a decade and while some people chafe under the order and discipline that a well run kitchen demands, I loved being exposed to that. To this day, I clean my kitchen from top to bottom 2 x a day - in the morning before I prep/consume anything, and in the evening after the last meal/snack is taken. There is nothing like taking pride in keeping your work area clean and organized.
Loved this whole show.
Can’t wait to delve into this show! 🔥

If you watch the show you’ll see why every character acts the way they do but they never not make sense

The French brigade concept seems Orwellian to me. You wear uniforms and all refer to each with the same title. In reality, there is a clear hierarchy. All chefs are equal. Some are more equal than others. It is demonstrated to be downright corrosive. The symbol of the doughnut is what it is but the show almost seems to have a nostalgia for the method.

The brigade system is awesome (as long as the people are awesome). Everyone is called "chef" out of respect. Even if it is your first day working in a kitchen, the Chef de Cuisine will address you as 'Chef" out of respect for the role and responsibility you've accepted. Everyone works together, but everyone has clearly defined responsibilities, whether that is salads, meat, or the entire kitchen.

Yeah I never worked in a kitchen but having everyones roles clearly outlined just seems so helpful when working in a fast paced environment like that.@@MikeCGannon
