Christopher Jackson I remember a documentary she was at Juilliard I believe and she was singing musetta's Waltz from La Boheme. They stopped there one minute into the Aria. And the. They asked her what is the whole meaning of this song and she wisely said to win marchello back. She sang it again beautifully. Another great supporting voice from the Metropolitan Opera in the Golden Era Etc do you know if she ever went to Europe to perform leading roles? Let me know and I'll surely look to see if I can find him. I did my DNA and to my surprise I'm 5% black amen and Glory Hallelujah! My wife always said when I sang Spirituals I sounded like a black man now I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings brother man. What's the deepest respect and regards ARNOLD BOURBON AMARAL

A sextet of five voices? Surely it's a quintet? Superb though and very enjoyable. Thank you for posting it. I remember Merritt and Kesling sang and acted wonderfully together in the great 1986 Met production of L'Italiana in Algeri with Marilyn Horne.
