TRUE - I think that might bring more respect - not only that many older people are still very capable of working or doing other things but are not respected and sometimes discouraged from pursing later life dreams and I do believe society loses out as well (not just the older person)

She definitely has a presence that cannot be ignored! She’s flawless!

She shot her first Vogue cover in 1946 that's when the industry was actually picking pace after the second world war, while other models like Naomi, Iman and others were born in it she paved the way for them. She was also just 15 when she was featured on her first Vogue cover.

What a most stunning woman, class, style, incredible glamour and grace, she OWNS the whole space, her body, posture, magnetism, incredibly beautiful, classy face, she is a living goddess!

Amazing lady. Ninety and still in a business that thinks you are finished by 30. Seen her at Claridge's a few times and she always looks groomed and perfect. Absolute respect to her.

Absolutely. Sadly, most models on the runway, male or female, seem to be mannequins who happen to have mobility. Perhaps that is the intention. What I don't get is how that causes anyone to buy the product, who wouldn't have done so without ever attending the showing.

I hope the younger models are taking notes. This is how you walk a runway. She’s one of a kind.

Stunning at any age.. A consummate professional

I was walking along Lexington Avenue one hot summer night in 2013 and I stopped to look into a shop window that had something interesting displayed in it. Within about two seconds along comes this amazingly beautiful lady to check out the display as well! She looked over at me and gave me a very flirtatious smile. What a lady!!!

I have modeled for a number of years and this lady has been a mentor and inspiration to me. Get it, Carmen! Show them how it is done.

Bravo Carmen! Still beautiful, elegant and the epitome of glamor. She is ageless!

That's how to model cloths! Rather than clump down the cat walk like a horse during dressage and staring boringly into oblivion, she engages the audience and her attitude shows the cloths moving to best show off the fabrics and styling. Way to go girl!
