I was disappointed but secretly happy. Winning that show is almost a guarantee that you won't be remembered and your big break will be controlled by TV types. Now at least we know she's the artist she wants to be and I still absolutely love this gurls talent she has my support just as much now as then.

That poolside performance is by far the best vocal moment on any of these competition shows. I still feel like Arin's heartfelt "she's so good" is part of this song, because it's true. She's so good. This is really so moving.

She clearly got rob and the country singer that won did absolutely nothing in the industry. But on the bright side she got to keep her childhood and those experience. And now she can still pursue her singing. So it all seems to work out.

I can't believe it either! I was 15 years old 10 years ago

It's like...seeing my daughter grown up, who eventual came back home to visit me, tears...

I remember those long nights during my pregnancy when I couldn't sleep and I watched Carly Rose on youtube over and over again. Today 9 year later im in my room watching this video while my 9 year old boy sleeps in his room.

Im listening 1 year later.... and after 10 years, 11 years... doesn't matter I still cry hearing you.... you don't have just the voice, you have the emotion, the passion on song... thank you for letting me hear this one more time

Oh my god. You literally started my talent show obsession at 13. I can’t believe I’m 23 and still use my study breaks to watch AGT and The Voice, but seeing this reminded me where the obsession started 😂 I’ll never forget L.A Reed’s iconic “WhAt 🤨!” When he heard you sing. I watched that entire season, two times over, I remember. Probably the best season in X factor history.

You should know how special you are when you managed to retain thousands of fans after being a contestant 10 years ago! I was 15 when you competed and I have always remembered you as my favourite talent show contestant of all time. I am so excited to see you succeed as you continue to grow!

She has such a beautiful voice. It breaks my heart when talent like hers don't get the recognition that they truly deserve.

This original audition happened at such a pivotal point of my life, and it’s refreshing seeing her revisit this with an up to date performance of a timeless pop cover!

The first version made my jaw drop as one of the most amazing musical moments I had seen captured on film/video. The simplicity and sincerity of the stunning vocal. Its so nice to see Carly grow as an artist and a person. Such a rare and wonderful talent. \

Two adults crying because of a talented 13 year old girl. It was a fantastic memory. 10 years later and I am sitting alone watching this in the same room only mom is not here anymore.
