this song gets me so emotional, it encapsulates perfectly the feeling of being young, in love and wanting to travel the world with someone, live adventures and make memories

2023 and still hits me to the core. I still can't forget how simple this music video is, not overly glamorized by production but clips of her in different countries running and having fun, matching the feelings of the title of the song. Pop genius!!!

She's not deserved to be called "the Call Me Maybe girl", people are sleeping completely through all of her masterpieces. I don't even know how both Emotion and Dedicated are not big albums yet.

thats not really the case nowadays. If anything Carly has more recognition from this type of music than what shes done before. But I must say I found Dedicated kind of a letdown. It got wayyyy too gay for my taste. Emotion had a bit of everything for everyone and I loved that.

My generations chart toppers is an actual joke the majority of them do not write their own lyrics theres two swedish men that have wrote lyrics for most of the number one songs that have been number one since the year 2000. As for sampleing its plagerizm they get credit for a melody they did not create people think the artists who are sampled from get bare cash in 90% of cases they do not and there is nothing they can do legaly to get money from the thiefing artist as they cant afford to copywrite their work and thus its legaly fair game. This was and is a great song and Carly is a wonderful pop singer, but "the mass" pays attention to the Arianas, Taylors, Cardies, Billies and all that hip hop sh*t (even Lizzo). I know it may sound unfair... but I struggle to listen and remain open to new music, but I constantly go back to "better times" (sorry it sounds so cliché). Sadly, the reason her career is stiffled is because she's Canadian. Grammy's add a digit to an artist's income. You don't do that for people who don't pay taxes to the United States. Bieber only has one and it took him a decade to get.

This really is one of the best songs that's ever been created. Hands down.

That video you play over and over after the divorce and try to remember why you had a heart in the first place. Holding onto something before your soul was torn to shreds and lost all faith in existence. Great song though. Love it. Amazing.

Wow, I am really surprised, this new Carly's album will be something great, this song in particular has a sound very catchy and fresh, and I like the new direction that she has taken making new music. She plays 4 instruments, is highly involved at producing her music and music videos. She also is head of her own management. Yet you call her "talentless". And yes vocally she's weak but I think all her other TALENTS compensate that point. Also yes Carly is highly underrated and so, so talented no one can deny that. On another note I really hope they both write an album or at least a song together. That would be life!!
