Honestly, they did the 'friendzone to boyfriend' so right. Freddie saying that he loves being Carly's friend and being upset at how her rejection still hurt him...that feels so REAL. He's doesn't lament being friendzoned because he sees Carly as a full person and not just as potential girlfriend material, so yes he's very happy being friends. But at the same time it still hurts that she doesn't reciprocate. And he's *allowed* to feel hurt about that. This is not what I expected from the iCarly reboot but I am here for it!

@@moiii_01 Well reboots these days tend to be cheap trend filled knock offs. A reboot being great like this one even arguably surpassing the original, is very rare.

Im actually glad they waited this long. They both grown as friends and now as adults accept what they feel is real for each other. It all happened naturally at it’s own time.

I'm glad they didn't immediately try to put them together at the beginning of the revival. We saw little hints in the first season, and then a lot of hints in the second season, leading up to this moment.

One of the beauties of reboots: actually getting to see how GENUINE relationships tend to be. It’s not an overnight thing-it’s an overYEARS thing so we actually get a look at natural progressions of relationships reminding us how they really are like irl instead of expecting everything to just fit in place right away like you usually have to see in shows :) I realized recently how much the whole “can’t stay together or it’s boring” concept has subconsciously messed with my idea of relationships irl :/

It breaks my heart to see Jennette McCurdy in those pictures. It’s a little piece of ICarly that no longer exists and it can’t exist because of how toxic it was but it’s still emotional nonetheless. The love that still exists between her and her co stars is really beautiful. I shed a tear when i saw them.

I haven’t read her book yet so idk if she’s ever made a solid decision to never come back under any circumstance. But part of me likes to think she’ll be there for the series finale at their wedding. I feel like that’s pretty much the endgame for this reboot.

Better than miranda did

I was a seddie shipper growing up, but for 2 adults that want a mature, healthy, peaceful relationship, creddie makes the most sense. I think it’s true to Sam’s character to have her life’s dream be joining a nomadic biker gang (even more than staying with Freddie), and that’s the opposite of what Freddie (who stayed in Seattle and has a daughter) wants.

Exactly I used to ship seddie so hard. But if they were to get together as adults I think their relationship would have been so toxic not a healthy one at all. While Carly and Freddie as adults represent a loving healthy mature relationship.

This is why I’m a bigger believer in the idea of best friends falling in love and getting together. It just fits

Me and my husband were friends in HS. Started dating a little less than a year after I graduated. Been together 19 years, married 11 and have a beautiful 7 year old son. It absolutely works out

Childhood best friends to lovers excellence. This revival only enriched their love story and I’m glad people are seeing how they were truly meant to be. Both of their feelings are now a leveled playing field. Carly will always be the love of Freddie’s life and I’m glad that Carly finally realizes he’s the love of hers. The 5-4 countdown before she kissed him again was EVERYTHING.

@@Hi.Im.Lovely Yes, Sam liked Freddie to an extent, but their relationship was kind of toxic. They didn't bring the best out of each other. Even Nathan Kress opposed the idea of Sam and Freddie being a couple in the end. In regards to Carly not appreciating Freddie...they were teenagers. Most girls don't realize that the right guy for them is right in their front of them. That said, Carly truly valued Freddie's friendship during that time, and over time developed feelings for Freddie. It was only when he was pursuing other girls that she began to see him differnetly.

The way Freddie asks if this is really happening is so heartfelt because he really was wondering if he actually got his dream girl. As soon as she kissed him, he realized he did. Plus, the way Carly pulled him in harder for the second kiss shows how her feelings for him is now more powerful than Freddie was to Carly in the original show. Talk about Irony. 😂😂 Well Done! ❤️💙

This whole scene wow. Brilliantly and emotionally written with meaningful throwbacks to their past and how far they’ve come from when they were kids. They really are meant for each other in every way.

Um this was perfect. This is how you do the friend with the unrequited crush to lovers storyline. "Being your friend is not a consultation prize" SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK. One of the healthiest starts to a relationship I've ever seen from a TV show/movie

That second kiss was everything! Both in character with Carly wanting more of that and Freddie being cukey! To think that was improvised by Miranda and Nathan says they know their characters perfectly! Carly not holding back anymore with wanting to kiss Freddie and him being surprised how eager she is 😊🤗! He fell first but she fell harder and I love it!

16 years. 16 years and I can't believe we got this moment. And the fact that the actors are crying doing this (likely acting but I don't care) is just incredible. I still remember that first episode and the goodbye one. Loved everything about this show. All the episodes have such great memories attached to them. I guess I can finally say my childhood is complete (turning 20 this year) Bittersweet really but amazing! ❤😭

When she brought up what Freddie had said at the end of iSaved Your Life and that he was still her hero, that got me so emotional...

It’s adorable when you see both of them admit how they like each other and want a relationship they both are holding back tear as they tell each other their feelings and also have a little fear wondering how each other will respond and then when they both get the responses they want they in a way kind of break down.

FINALLY AFTER 16 YEARS. Now being 30 watching this, my teenage heart is happy

It's actually so special that we got to grow up with them. A lot of shows just end with the characters in high school and that's it, so you don't really know if they can make it together as adults, but here we are!

​@@madtitan0825 Sadly, that won't happen in the near future since the cast are quite busy with other stuff. That said, they should really get one of them for this revival.

I've basically been waiting for Creddie to happen since the original series, and I was sure I'd be excited when it finally happened, but this was so much better than anticipated! I love everything about this episode; it may be one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I love how they were both basically crying because it is really emotional when two people who are as close as Carly and Freddie cross into new territory. I love that they finally had a kiss when both of them meant it, and not because one saved the other or they were saying goodbye. This kiss was the start of something, not the end. And I especially love how they didn't drag out this story. I was worried we'd have to wait until the end of the season for them to get together, but since they got together so early, we have basically an entire season to see them date, which is really exciting. This episode was just perfection!

Seriously! We never realized how we had to see it with an actual natural progression that only aging over the years could make happen 🥺😭💕 just like in some irl love stories, it might be the right person but not the right time and it just would not have made as much sense back then as it does with where they are now 🥰

The show from it where started from 2007 to now, they couldn't build this any better. I never thought we see the day that Carly and Freddie be a official couple. There always meant to be because Freddie was always there for here and Carly was supportive for him. The reboot was the perfect way to revive this two characters and see how they grow from where it ended to now. It took 16 years but it was worth all the wait!! The part when Freddie counts 5-4 and they kiss again was perfect!!

Freddie getting choked up makes me want to cry!! He waited 16 years for them to finally be boyfriend and girlfriend and it was definitely all worth it 🥺💕

This goes without saying, but Nathan Kress is an amazing actor.

The scene between Freddie and Spencer is so well acted!!!!

I loved watching iCarly when I was 12-14 and I always rooted for Carly and Freddie to end up together. This feels so magical! 🥺

If this was any other streaming service, I'd be worried about them firing a torpedo at the ship. But Paramount+ has historically been bad about getting ships to sail in the first place, so we should be okay.

This development made me so happy, but I immediately started wondering when they’re going to start the breakup arc for the sake of drama. I really hope I’m wrong, though.

This episode had me screaming. Wasn’t prepared for the emotional plot twist. This is how you do these characters justice 💯

I’ve always knew it was meant to be from the very beginning of Freddie being a shy kid to Carly from across the hallway all the way to this. All totally worth it

Honestly, having never seen the reboot, I was PRAYING we’d get this. Anddd… this was way better than I could’ve imagined. I will 100% be watching this show now just to watch them get to here. I love this so much! The child in me is CRYING! 😭😭😭🥰

i waited more than a decade for this and it finally payed off 🥺 i love these two together so much and i'm excited to see them as an official couple this season 💞

The cool thing about these shows getting revived is that you get to see storylines you know they'd never tell originally as kids. It's pretty cool.

Yeah🥺♥️we get to live and see where their story finally led and ended at🥰as for these 2, we always knew they were end-game and the original ended with their kiss and proof of feelings there, now this just has done justice at alas in their adulthood at the right time ✨

Ever since I first watched the show from 2007 as a 12 yr old, the _only_ reason that kept me watching was because of my childhood crush to Miranda Cosgrove, as well as seeing Freddie (Nathan Kress) as a representation of me crushing on her. Even throughout these years, 'iSaved A Life' episode still stands out as my favourite one. To make matters even crazier, I had a real-life overseas crush over a girl since 2007 who closely resembled Miranda. So, whenever I watched Carly & Freddie around each other I always imagined me & my real-life crush. There's no denying I was shipping them from Day 1. And now... finally getting to see this truly happen, of Carly & Freddie getting together... is just true happiness manifested. Each time I watch this, I get teary. Because the show producers made a dream come true for many, many iCarly fans around the world. And now... all I have left is to make this same dream come true with my real-life crush/first love. Which I'm only able to cling on to hope, faith & trust with our current circumstances.

They were once buds, and now, their relationship is on a roll!

This episode is an A+ and a 10/10👍

Who cried during episode 3? I know i did I remember I was kid when Freddie saves Carly from the taco truck, and ever since then I've been rooting for them ,and now I'm 20 years old ,and finally these two have accepted their feelings for each other ,and became a couple the only thing left now is them getting married by the end of this show ,and my childhood will be complete # creddie for life 😍😭❤.

Glad you've joined unto our side of light.🙂 Seddie was just childish drama forced into the story to make a love triangle with Sam at the shorter end of the stick because the writers had always made it clear that Freddie wasn't over Carly.

@@moiii_01 I didn't join over to any side...I said I accept it for what it is...but if u really wanna go there creddie was Freddie literally simping and chasing Carly for the majority of the show to only be with her for one episode and get one kiss at the end of the show that came out of literally no where cuz every episode prior to that showed no indication of Carly ever having feelings for him....quite honestly it was forced ..and in the reboot she hurt him even more in Italy because he thought that kiss meant something only for her to say it didn't at the time...he got married and divorced twice and she still wasn't into him and only until he got a new girlfriend did she all of a sudden started catching feelings again

Throughout while they were kids and later teens she really just prioritized their friendship and didn't want to stake it for anything else so whatever feelings she had for him, she intentionally paid no mind to them nor embraced them and that's exactly what she explains in this episode confessing her feelings that she hadn't realized sooner all these years. The Italy situation was one big misunderstanding, she had no idea he thought a lot into the kiss and even wanted to be with her romantically as a couple while Freddie as well presumed from her reaction to the old man's compliment of them being a couple that she would never consider dating him, they each weren't exactly wrong or fully right and because they never talked about it again, for years it carried on that way. Facts is they were just at wrong timings all along till now, right now is just right for them. These feelings were not 'out of nowhere' as you think..they've slow burned with them all these years, Pearl(Freddie's recent ex) just confronted them with it and that was just the trick needed to make them see they couldn't run away from those feelings anymore.

11 years after Carly kissed Freddie before to move to Italy with her dad, Carly Finally Admitted she’s crazy about Freddie all along👏💖💙! And Freddie finally gets his dream girl! I love Seddie, but Creddie is meant to be🫶💖💙

16 years! How time flies. I watch iCarly season 1 till now man I feel old

I used to sit with my kids and watch ICarly. Both of mine are in college now. I never thought I would get to see Carly and Freddie get together. Thank you for sharing this.

I really like how the writers of the iCarly reboot took 3 seasons to get Freddie and Carly together, they didn't rush it. (Secretly I'm still crying about Seddie)

That scene was so perfect!!! The emotions, the delivery!!! My eyes were teary and I got goosebumps ♥

Honestly, I like when shows that run (either continuously or on and off) for so many years have characters grow close and when they end up it feels genuine and well earned.

The most emotional episode of i Carly that I can remember u can feel the emotions between Carly and Freddie for sixteen years Carly and Freddie had loved each other but never showed their feelings for each other

I honestly thought we’ll see this moment in the season finale, but I’m glad we saw it now. I’m predicting that in the season finale, Freddie is going to propose to Carly, at maybe his mom & Lewbert’s wedding

I waited 8 seasons and 3 episodes for this to happen.

In the original series I've always shipped Seddie, however Creddie is clearly meant to be. Also I liked that Sam was in Carly's memory pictures.
