Omg. Carlos makes me swoon in this game. He’s perfect boyfriend material. I gotta say I prefer him in this version as he’s hot and I love his hair! Jill may be the tough girl, but he’s definitely her knight in shining armour. I love the extent he goes to rescue her and make sure she’s safe. I’m definitely feeling the Jill/Carlos vibes. I’m sorry Jill/Chris fans but Jill has more sexual tension with Carlos in 1 game then she ever does does with Chris in an entire series.

These two have such great chemistry in this game. Just like Leon/Claire did in RE2 remake. I wish Capcom went all out and made them a couple, even if it changed canon. After everything Carlos went through to save Jill and how deeply he cared about her, a kiss or even a hug from her would've felt like the most natural thing in the world by that point.

Got to say I love the relationship between Carlos and Jill in this game. also want to say that Carlos Nightmare before Jill wakes cured from the virus sickness- - guess its forshadowing because Carlos says "Shoot me Jill, it's the only way." In the end fight with his boss Carlos (in the real world) says "Jill shoot him. do it. you have to. It's the only way." Then Jill seems supirise that the bullet didn't horrible injury carlos

I just love how Capcom have finally turned Carlos into a character with an actual personality, and not just a random NPC with a "foxy accent that the ladies love". Funnily, he has become VERY popular amongst the fanbase as a result. In an ideal world, we'd see him again in another game, but in reality, this was probably it, and he'll go back to being irrelevant, just like Sheva, Parker, Billy or Barry (Revelations 2 wasn't enough, PERIOD). Resident Evil, at this point, is basically "The Chris and Leon show", with occasional cameos by Jill and Ethan.

Thank you!! That’s exactly what RE has become. It’s hard for me to get excited for any game or CGI knowing it will most likely be another Chris and Leon adventure. It’s insulting how Capcom just completely ignores Jill and Claire has pretty much become a helpless civilian. Also doesn’t help that Chris and Leon are both jokes now. Chris has been through nearly every generic action hero story trope and Leon is just a watered down John Wick clone.

What's funny is Chris and Leon are the most popular the real kicker here is that for most of the resident evil games you play Original characters, females and backstories with female leads. The reason you see a lot of Chris and Leon is cause they are literally the money bringers and not only that even in games where they cameo they are still the most popular so the irony here is people bitching about them being the most played and liked and sideline the others when in reality those are numbers they get from replaying the main games and You barely play as chris and leon in most of them there's a shit ton of female and oc male characters and ada for one is also nearly in all of them and also playable.

I have to agree! For once I never thought I would say this but I hope they friendzone Chris and Jill! Carlos in this remake is way way way too cool and awesome! Also yes there is definitely some sexual tension between the two! It makes sense that they didn't capitalize during the game because honestly there is no time for love during the end of the world but God why can't they just show us the aftermath? Like when they escape at the end? Where do they go? What do they do? Either way I'm going to keep my expectations low cause well last thing I need is to be massively letdown! I will remain optimistic but cautious!

I'm a Valenfield but Valeveira is.......I never give too much attention on them in the original RE3 but this remake changed everything. Their chemistry that even 5th grader can see it. The way he cared for her deeply and complimented her all the time. Go way back to hell to get her the vaccine. Almost remind me of how Chris went nuts when Jill was out of his sight and went all the way to Africa to find Jill even it was only a rumor (in RE5). I mean who wouldn't want Jill?

I'm so glad they didn't follow the shitty trend of "strong women need to be masculine looking". You know, muscular, acting all masculine and shit. Jill is still beautiful, and feminine. She gets her ass kicked, but rises above it every time. She IMO falls in love. And she's brave, almost fearless, yet compassionate and caring. That's a strong female character. Carlos and Jill better be a canon relationship. As an 18 year old guy, even I started getting that feeling seeing them together, protecting each other, and caring for eachother.

The flirting has definitely been toned down this go around lol. Even still God I love their chemistry. Wish I could've seen these two partner up again after this game. Her partnership with Carlos and Barry is infinitely more interesting than with Chris imho.

This could be a perfect _Resident Evil 3_ movie.

Capcom: "Let's create the perfect man and make him say he's not gonna leave us in a cold, cruel, Carlos-less world, just to never bring him back again." It's been over 3 years. BRING HIM BACK! I miss him so much, he wasn't even mentioned in the Death Island movie. :(

Normally I don't "SHIP" certain things in games or movies but I have to admit it would be welcome with open arms if Jill and Carlos become a couple! Honestly Capcom should retcon the timeline and say that they had some kind of relationship or maybe something went down between them before Jill alongside Chris go create the BSAA and continue to fight Umbrella! Fingers crossed I guess! I will keep my expectations low but still hopeful!

It honestly feels like Capcom are retconning some things. Even in RE2 remake, the Leon and Claire ship was hinted a little more, especially at the end of the game where Sherry thought of them as boyfriend and girlfriend, and Claire kinda referred to that event as an interesting first date. Could be nothing, but it's just weird to me to see Carlos get a complete revitalization of his character if he's only gonna be a one off type character. Like they actually put effort into changing him and making him likeable, instead of just sticcing to what he was when we first saw him. Either they do nothing with a great character like him with room to expand, or Capcom actually listens to the fans for once. The ship makes even more sense as they both actually developed great chemistry, literally from the ground up (considering they met with Jill lying on the ground lol). From no trust and easily sensed tension, to showing complete faith in one another, to the point Jill couldn't kill him in her nightmare and took the bite. A real naturally progressed relationship, that supersedes anything shown between Jill and Chris imo

Is it just me who notice Carlos's body and apperance here do not resemble a normal 21-year old guy? (his b.y. is 1977 and the incident happened on 1998) For me, his looks seem to be advanced against his age here. Love Carlos and Jill! Definitely hope they kissed at some point in the game.

Kevin Taculao idk he definitely looks older to me too, like 30 or so. There’s nothing wrong with younger Carlos, but he definitely is a bit more aged here, which makes more sense given how responsible and mature his character is this time around.

Jill/Carlos flirty relationship in this Remake feels pure and natural. Unlike the Remake version of Claire/Leon , felt awkward and forced.
