There is actually a Scotch Street to the North of English Street. When Carlisle was a fully walled town there was i believe English, Scots, & Irish Gates in the walls, leading respectively to London (modern A6), Edinburgh (A7), & rather more tenuously to Dublin via the port at Whitehaven.

A "wake and bake"? That is what conscripted (white) South African soldiers did in Namibia / Angola during the 'South African Border War'. They would wake up and start smoking weed, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. Even worse, ranking officers would occasionally Court Marshall conscripts for smoking weed and double their service time from 4 to 8 years as punishment even though then condoned the smoking and were known at times to be involved in the supply.

27:02 SPQR stands for: Senatus Populusque Romanus, "The Senate and the Roman People'. I believe that it is still used on the municipal crest of the City of Rome, today.

As as Irish Catholic it think it is vitally important that we vist such cathedrals as they are remarkable buildings and the continued teachings of past history in Europe. With how western society is going it is very important I feel we do not forget these things. Richard the guy in church was very polite seemed like a good guy

Been, I'm going to make you look into a mirror. Ready? **holds mirror** tell me child, what doth thou see? You harranged woke politics, whilst you opened your comment in the first 4 words with woke, identify politics. Being Irish has no significance to what you said, and no such thing as an Irish Catholic exists. It's ironically, a political and nationalist ideology. Because only Roman Catholics exist. I'll put that mirror down, and hope that you can laugh at yourself. Leave your woke shite at the door next time, shagger.

@@aarononeill5536 Irish nationalism, independence, whilst you're ruled by a Hitler esque iron fist from Brussels. You cannot write your own laws, you have zero control over your own currency. Can you tell me again, why Irelands a country most people have never heard of, and why England is? Does the year 1690 trigger you?

My mother is Jamaican. Been here over 30+ yrs yet she still has a slight accent. US citizen, but still sometimes have that dialect. It's perfectly normal for a question like that but she maybe asked wrong like "I hear an accent/hint of an accent, where's your roots originate?"

I enjoy when an American asks me, a Scottish fellow, where in England I'm from. They get so offended when I ask where in Mexico they're from.
