The truck looks good. Carli is hands down the best ride quality. You could have saved a ton of money by not purchasing the Tremor package since you removed most everything Tremor, but I'm sure you realize that by now. Thanks for the content.

Start with the tremor, you get the factory lift, the f350 springs in the f250, you get the shorter front valence, and you get the front limited slip. Imo well worth the price.
I would have saved the money on the radius arms and steering stabilizers and got the replacement leaf springs and shackles! Just got base commuter with sway bar spacer for mine. Hopefully rear springs and front sway in the future
What is the width on that 37 and you didn't do any rear options? They made it seem like you had to add either a leaf pack or new leaf package. I have 2022 f350 tremor and looking at the exact package you have and I like the Factory wheels actually but afraid of it only being 8 inches wide. Truck looks great.
Did you fit the 37s before leveling? They look great with the new suspension.
Did you ever have a problem with the factory wheels and tires rubbing the torsion swaybar?
I have the same set up on a 2020 F250 7.3. Try getting aftermarket wheels on a 9" rim vs the stock 8.5 Tremor wheel. Also lower tire pressure to 56 front and 50 rear and rotate every 5k miles when you do your oil changes. The ride greatly improves when I did that on the wheel set up and pressure changes. Make sure they did the shims and with all Fords there is always a lateral pull so make sure the camber is adjusted up to a .05 degree. Should go down the road straight.

@@pickygarage love it. First gas truck since 1996. I love diesels but with all the extra filters, urea, and additional fuel costs and oil changes I took a gamble. The truck feels much lighter on its feet and handles well. I still pull the same front end loader and heavy 15k boat. It just does it slower but gets the job done without issue. I did add dual exhaust from the cat back out the rear. A 5 star tune which really woke it up. I have 1 more payment and typically get a new truck but this truck rides so well and not an issue...Ill probably keep it 2 more.

I still have it and still like it as much as the day I got it. I have never said that before. The Carli set up... still no issues and I tow heavy (37 Freeman..12'wide) easily. The only thing I miss when towing this heavy is the exhaust brake. Other than that, I typically trade every 2 to 3 years but I see me keeping this truck until they have big incentives. The commuter with all the bells/whistles is what I have and will do it again. I have changed to the Falkin Wildpeaks 37x12.5 20's. Much quieter tire vs the hybrid they have replaced...Ridge grappler and X-AT. Better in the snow and rain and I have pressures at 52 cold front and 46 rear cold. This is what Carli suggested...more pressure in front less in rear....Way better ride and they wear much better. @@pickygarage

Carli actually recommends 35r and 45f psi in the tires for the deisel until you need to tow something heavy and I can't recommend this enough!
Is that a 37” spare with the stock hitch? If so, how did you get that to fit. I have 37’s on my 350 and still have the stock spare under the truck. I was under the impression that you would need Carli’s new hitch to fit a 37, and that a $3000+ cost.
Dumb question but the 37s work fine on the 35 stock rims? Haven't had to get new tires yet, but I love the stock rims, don't love stock Duraturds. What spare tire carrier did you use?
@Sinsofcarolina
Жыл бұрын
Stock rims aren’t ideal because they’re 8” wide and the backspacing allows thicker tires like a 12.5 to make contact with the control arm. Also a lot of shops won’t mount wider tires on wheels thinner than what the manufacturer recommends. I also like the look of the Tremor wheels. The Raceline Monster 17x9 wheels are very similar and not overpriced right now
Were you required to adjust your front and rear sensors to support your headlights and if applicable your bed scale?

I think it really shines off road as you don’t get the steering wheel instability of it jerking back and forth. Great question on the diesel vs gas I assume it would charge some things as the gas engine isn’t as heavy. Then again the shock are custom tuned for gas and custom tuned for diesels
@Picky Garage I just purchased a 2022 F 250 Roush Edition. I love the truck and its features, but I hate the drive and feel of the truck. I've only had it for a week but every bump in the road causes it to shake. It only has $8k miles on it but I already experience some wobble in it and it feels unstable. It bothers me so much, that I have actually considered trading in for a Denali. The only thing is that the Denali's are dated and the interior sucks compared to Ford. WOuld this Carli suspension fix the issues that I am concerned about? Or do you think I should look at getting another truck? Maybe even a RAM TRX or something? I currently use my truck to haul my jet ski's and it is excellent at that but daily driving sucks. Thanks in advance...

I have a trx and id take it any day over the f250. The f250 is just for towing cars. Honestly the ram trx is the best truck in my opinion. The cons of the trx are 1. People try to steal it all the time I’ve replaced my back window twice. 2. 8-9mpg is what you normally get driving. 3. I wouldn’t really use it to tow. 4. The truck bed is small. Let me know if you have any other questions. The carli suspension would eliminate the wobble you’re feeling.
Hey. I’m considering a back country carli kit for my f250 with fx4 but couldn’t agree more. It’s expensive!! And trying to decide if it’s worth the money. Would love to know your thoughts after you’ve put some miles on yours. Thanks

That’s why I’m considering Carli but the cost sure makes it hard to pull the trigger. Also this time around gonna go less aggressive on the wheels. Ford doesn't do much to suspension on Tremors, they're basically towing package shocks with a Tremor logo on them. There's a lot of other features (non suspension related) that make a Tremor a no brainier and that's why I bought one
@Sinsofcarolina

If I remember correctly the Tremor package on my truck was only like $3200 option. A Blackout package was over $4k. Getting off-road features, 1” lift, F350 rear leafs, nice wheels, and 35s cheaper than black trim is a no brainer for me. And not so expensive that upgrading the suspension to a premium brand would feel wasted

I added the tremor package to mine because you couldn't get power running boards with the other packages. The Amp running boards were $2000 if I bought them after the truck purchase. The Tremor package had them included and was only $2200 more with the other packages I had on the truck. So in all it was a $200 price difference, not $4000.
10 k for some fox shocks Jesus
Man, I hate to be negative here, and I respect all the work that goes into creating a video like this; but there are some glaring issues, imo. I’ve driven a F350 equipped with the FULL Backcountry kit and one with the King Pintop kit that’s fully equipped. Compared to my stock 2022 F350 Platinum Tremor the improvements in the ride is VERY much improved with each jump in the kit levels. With all due respect, you did yourself (and Carli) a YUGE disservice by not including the other rear suspension component upgrades. SO much of the ride quality in a Super Duty is determined by the rear ended. For whatever reason you neglected to follow Carli’s advice on the importance of all the rear end components but to then come out and infer that the kit isn’t worth the cost, seems disingenuous at best. When you do all that on the LOWEST end kit you can find from Carli… the results you received seem pretty predictable! Plus, you added bigger and heavier wheels to a kit marketed as a “commuter” (A.K.A. street kit) are you really surprised that you were less than overly impressed with your results? I’m not. I’ll challenge you to put on all the rear end components, AFTER you call Carli and get THEIR advice on which parts they think will improve that ride. Things like the Deaver “Progressive add-a-pack” leaf springs designed with Carli, leaf spring shackle and their 2° Pinion Shim. Also, check what they think about increasing the tire size and whether they have recommendations on what to do to accommodate them or whether they suggest returning to 35’s? After doing comparison rides on-road and off, with the Backcountry and Pintop kits compared to my stock Tremor, the improvements are 100% worth the cost. I was SHOCKED with how nice my truck rides on both and it makes my wife willing to go adventure with m because of the incredible comfort they provide. In fact, she wants me to go with the King Pintop! Carli is a PREMIUM suspension with, at best, maybe 1 peer in the market. It’s not intended for every truck owner because it’s a very high price point. It’s intended for people who can afford and justify getting the “best of the best.” BUT IF you can afford to do it and do it RIGHT, it’s an incredible upgrade, imo. As someone else mentioned earlier, tire pressure is a big factor in comfort. That’s why I have an onboard air system - so I can lower my pressures for Highway driving unloaded, lowering to 15-20psi when I’m on a trail or a washboarded ranch road AND air way up for towing. Proper tire pressure is a MAJOR component of ride quality, no matter what system you’ve installed. Sorry for the long and direct post but that’s what I appreciate; and I’m tryin to help. Sure wish you’d add the rest of the parts you left off and put the factory tires and wheels back on at appropriate pressures and, then, re-evaluate the ride. 👊❤️

I just can’t help adding some comments on the comparison made between your partially upgraded 3/4 ton diesel truck and a 1/2 ton gas powered truck: That’s like comparing apples to hay bales. The gas guzzling TRX is pretty good offroad an on but unless you’re running the Baja 500, it’s over powered and using WAY mr fuel than a 3/4 or 1 ton Ford diesel truck - trucks that can do SO much more and who’s engines will outlive the Hemi by 3X-4x. The TRX’s only real advantage is offroad at high speed. Yet you kept referring back to it has having a better ride than your Ford with a “commuter” system that wasn’t even complete. Does that not seem a strange comparison to you? I’m a diesel as I run a large ranch and I have always owned Ford because in Texas they have a better recommendation than Dodge and they have less problems, broadly speaking. My oldest F350 is a 2009 KR that has almost 400K miles on the original engine (6.0L) and it’s still a reliable workhorse. That’s after 14 years of mostly rough ranch road driving. I don’t think a Dodge can do that with the same regularity. I digress. Just saying that the comparisons you drew just seem….. not helpful or particularity fair.

NItto tires are to soft for a Super Duty, the Fox Shox are also too small, Basically it's a waste of $10K, if you already have a Tremor package !!!! I have a F250 and I'm speaking from Experience !!!!
You get what you pay for like everything in life.
I've installed Carli , BDS, Rough Country, etc and price tag to price tag Carli is the most overrated by FAR. The marketing guy at Carli should get a huge raise.
This was a waste of time. I have the same truck and was not looking for a walkaround and comparison between a TRX of all things. It would have been great to know how much nicer it rode since these F250s ride like a buckboard wagon off the showroom floor. You can't justify the expense because you can't remember how it rode before you sent it off, and that doesn't really make this helpful.
