This scene kills me every time. Chris Gascoyne is simply spectacular. They all are. I miss this sweet Simon. But I guess he was doomed to turn into a little shit with Peter coming in and out of his life.

Regardless of blood, Leanne has been a fantastic mum to Simon. She adopted him and she's the only continuous relationship in his sad life. Google "drunk Peter Barlow" and you'll see why Simon chose Leanne.
