Carl Weathers and Dolph Lundgren are both amazing physical specimens. Their characters are both powerful. There couldn't have been two better casting choices.

Dolph Lundgren was every convincing as Ivan Drago. I could have sworn he was really Russian.

I’m glad Carl got a part in The Mandalorian. I completely geeked out when I first saw him sitting in the cantina. I love his acting ability. Very charismatic.

Definitely & I think that working with the other “alpha” men that he worked with, especially as a BLK man, it didn’t work in his favor. You can even see here there is some light tension between the two & I know Sylvester “joked” about him being arrogant & perfect for the part too. It’s a shame because he really was talented, and should’ve done much more work.

I remember seeing Rocky IV in the theater and the sense of foreboding when Apollo faced Drago. Also Drago's entrance in the final fight. Seeing the giant silhouette of Drago was a sight to behold on the big screen.

My favorite line from Apollo Creed was in Rocky 2 when Rocky was watching television & Apollo was being interviewed with his wife. His statement to all children was, "be a thinker, not a stinker". His goal for all children was to be the best that they can be whether they want to be a lawyer or a doctor, but simply not a boxer because the mind is a terrible thing to waste. Thank you Mr. Stallone for creating Apollo Creed, creating memories of him, & creating the messages of him. 👍🥊💪

You can tell Dolph still has some of that shyness he talks about sometimes. It's kind of a bummer that he hasn't been in a ton of movies that have played to his strengths, but it seems like his career is on the upswing and that's awesome!

I like both of these guys they are both smart and in great shape. Weathers was underrated as an actor because he usually got cast in action roles. Lundgren is a Chemical Engineer, athlete, actor, etc. Two cool dudes with good senses of humor that I'm always happy to see doing well .

Carl Weathers has dignity and does not behave exuberant like some black and white fellow actors of his. Bravo Mr. Weathers and bravo Mr. Lundghren. Both down to earth people.

Interesting how dolph mentions the 'time capsule'. For the longest time, I've always said Rocky 4 is the most "80's" movie of the decade and should be put in a time capsule.

Rocky IV is like a 90 minute music video, and I'm not saying this in a derogatory way. It's actually the most fun I had watching a Rocky movie. It's perfectly paced, straightforward, exciting, well acted, well shot, and the music is brilliant. An 80s classic.

Dolph is quite a gentleman in his own right, though not as insanely charismatic as Carl obviously. Check out Dolph's Ted Talk. He's a sweet, gentle soul.

You can tell dolph lundgren is a real life badass. People seem to respect and at times feel nervous around him. Even carl admits dolph would kill him in real life. I always said dolph was the real deal and it shows here.

The casting, music and will power of these movies is something we haven’t really seen before. Everyone loved these characters I remember being a kid at how upset I was when Apollo died.

Carl Weathers will always be an house hold name. A person that is well known by the public. As an amazing actor and a stunning character.

They should make a scif fi version of Rocky where it's an alternate version where Creed never died, and Creed still have a father to go to. In the story he could fight Drago again. This is awesome though. They both have aged gracefully.

Carl is pure class. That's what I always vibed off him

Stallone was the one his talking about when he mention the writer of the movie! Classic, He didn't know that the writer was also the lead actor! Good one Mr. Weathers!

When this video ended I was bummed. Truly if this would had been 4 hours it still would have flown by.

When Carl tells the "ding, ding" story I got goosebumps. My absolute favorite part in any Rocky movie!

I remember when Rocky came out which was in 1985, so Mr. Lungren was right about the filming. At that time, the cold war was happening, Ronald Reagan was president, cocaine was popular, hip hop was in its formation, HIV/AIDS was an epidemic/pandemic, & etc. The 80s was the best decade of my generation & I was 10 or 11 when the film was made & came out at the theaters. I remember a lot at that time because I was taught to be informed & take situations to apply to the heart; that's what I learned from all of Rocky movies. 🥊💪👍

The best Drago line... "You will lose."

Rocky IV is the best boxing film of all time.

III was it for me, getting back the eye of the tiger, everyone loves an underdog. One of the greatest comeback stories of all time.

Just a random view but worth a while, thank you "Renegade Geek"; Carl is and was a legend and of course Dolph too. Thank you for sharing this.
