Who? - Icahn? I always thought it was a Hollywood phrase -"There are no friends in this town. If you want a friend, get a dog."

He is a very petty man. He invested in HerbalLife, just to spite Ackman. That being said, there is place for people like Icahn and he can be useful in some cases.

Companies that waste money on employing people who arent producing value, or on products that noone wants, go broke sooner or later. Icahn either speeds the process up, or rationalizes the company enough that it turns around and/or becomes more valuable.
