Hands down the best thing I’ve ever seen live. The quality of mixing, track selection, vibe, lighting etc…So many of my favourite tracks are from this set, including artists with as little as 300 monthly listeners on Spotify. This man will go down in history among his audience and fellow DJs alike

This is real techno. None of that ambient, minimal, flat, boring stuff most of these "techno DJs" play. Carl Cox is one of the best DJs in the world in HISTORY.

Milo Practice real Techno includes that as well. I know that you can have an opinion, but other genres are still technically Techno. What might seem boring to you, may not be to other people.

Compare this to the likes of techno DJs such as Dax J, Anetha, I Hate Models and so forth - this is dull. Carl used to go super hard back in the day but good on him for making money and making it huge.

Butter I hate models and others are a completely different vibe. Carl plays groovy, slower techno, I feel like IHM is a lot harder - almost closer to trance

I get what you mean. Don’t get me wrong the visuals are ace but everything is designed for maximum impact of the music instead of creating fancy themes. The only downside is the sound quality on the Arc/North Stage although I’m hardly ever there as all my favourite artists and DJs tend to be inside the tents or structures. The Steel Yard were this set was played is massive, like a giant hangar looming over you as the music thunders through the whole place.

My favourite set of the weekend, Carl Cox and Creamfields just seems like a perfect fit. Can’t believe they didn’t have him on there for 10 years until 2018. Both 2018 and 19 sets were incredible 🔥🙂🔥

I agree with umek and varela mate! but to say time warp is not a patch on that set is ridiculous bud not saying it isn't a good set but there is a good bit of tech house in that ! I listen to every carl cox set I can hear mate and he bangs out unadulterated techno at the right places and time warp was one of them !

I'm a fan of seb Fontaine liked Oakey back in the cream days. Carl has been around since 1989 then some changed constantly old rave then proper techno when everyone else was trance. Remember seeing him at creamfields when it was in Liverpool 🙌💙 But this set and last years at creamfields he's smashed it well and truly ♥️🖤🔥💯 if God 🙏 was a DJ 🎶💯

WTF, sometimes it's best to just go on your own, i used to go dancing on my own because my mates didn't like dance music, you end up dancing with the crowd anyway who like yourself enjoy the music rather than having your mates saying "this is crap" fuck em, go on your own next time and meet up afterwards.
