I was raised by elders and for this music, I am so very glad... I love these people and all they held dear to them, music, love for family, art, knowledge, and most of all RESPECT. my hat to them.

the music I remember as a kid in the 70s. all the house parties, weddings. flashback to the family dancing. miss them days. most of my family have now passed on. Thanks for the memories!!

Man, this is it. Every instrument seems precisely tuned up and all by ear and this is before tuners hit the market. The same goes for the voices. Those guys are gone and talent has steadily gone down since the invention of shortcut instruments where 1 button does it all for you.

The best place to be in Houston during the 70's was there just about every friday and saturday. Every time the ROYAL JESTERS played there the place was packed. Great band
