Caring For Pets In Transit: Immigration & Final Journey | On The Red Dot - At The Vets
Mobile vet Dr Forest pays a visit to the Animal Quarantine Centre, to check in on Lolly. The golden retriever must pass a rabies test before he can travel to Australia to join his owners. But she then gets a call to perform a difficult procedure elsewhere - a home euthanasia.
Meanwhile, an emergency case is rushed in for Dr Jean. A 20-year-old Chihuahua is on the brink of organ failure, and it is touch-and-go if the pooch will make it through the night.
Dr Chow is operating on Yuki, the Maltese, to remove tumours on her mammary glands. But what started as a simple surgery turns out to be something more drastic.

Me too.. very emotional
Sushi and the owners broke my heart.. It reminded me so much about what I had to go through... 💔😭 Euthanasia is the hardest decision one will ever have to make... It really is about us not being selfish as we are not the ones having to suffer but trust me, they hold on so long for us... I am so grateful but heartbroken at the same time... 😢😢😢
I love how she’s explaining to Lolly what she’s doing as she does it 😅😅🥹🥹🥹
Honestly, Im so glad Yuki turned out fine.. my heart cannot take another hit after Sushi man.. RIP Sushi :(
Pets are God’s gift to us
Kudos to all the pet owners and veterinary staff
i love that the vet is talking to lolly the dog..
I am vet from Argentina, and really love this videos
Apprehensive when I see the words “quarantine center” in the title but I realize it is not longer the disgusting, old facility at Yishun. That said, visiting hours at the quarantine center remains 2 hours/day with no visiting on Sundays. Parents’ reviews on google mostly commented on the insufficient visiting time. Hope AVS can do better in the near future
Omg this episode hit me hard 😭 Well done for another great episode!
Thanks CNA for this series 😭
My deepest sympathy on Sushi😢
Being a fur parents its hard to let go... i just get emotional seeing furparents letting go of their love pets....as a furdad im not ready of this kind in my life but need to accept reality.
Oh poor little one
Sushi 💔🕊
Not a big deal, but just pointing out that for the diagram on mammary glands, left and right should be swapped 😂
