Which style van was that? Having a hard time decide on which van to get with out DOT requirement.

He'll burn more fuel, and handling/braking will suffer because he left the freight on the rear. I carried a 7' piece of load lock to push it up. As mentioned by others ... unsecured freight .... big no go.

How much avg would a load like this cost? Don’t need to know what u make exactly but the range.

Honestly diesel and gas are fine either or. I prefer diesel because I intend on keeping my vehicle will be on the 200,000 miles and I like the fuel economy that diesel gets one cruising it around 67 mph. As for a drive terrain, highly recommend rear wheel drive only. It saves you a lot of money in the end.

Easy way is to contact a major carrier and talk to them. A 1 pallet or 2, 3, or 4 pallet van makes money. Panther, Load One, Bolt, and more is a good start.😁🇺🇸🚛

U don’t … the market is in shambles in the expidited market. Cost to rpm is the worst I’ve ever seen. Insurance & fuel through the roof and good vans that can really do the work are not cheap ! However so what I think is best just be careful what u wish for.

Fixed and variable cost / miles = cost per mile ($0.55 avg). If u get load for $2.00 mi - .55 cost = $1.45 mi net profit. 2500 mi wk x $1.45 = $3,625 b4 tax. $174k yr working 48 wks yr.

@@writtenpieceopaper1 You're not gettin $2.00 a mile in a cargo van. Don't let that example he gave fool you. It's just an example. You'll probably $1 a mile at best right now. For longer runs of a 1,000 miles or more you'll be betting .75-.90 a mile.
