OH NO HE LOST HIS LEFT GEAR LEG COVER AT 2:10 _my heart started to bleed and my eyes widened as much as even possible when I saw that_ 😔 already when you guys lifted the model up to check the pulling the gesr retract mechanism I saw the doors not close properly and stick out a little I knew it'd make trouble earlier or later in this case really early :/ but holy cow that is some sick flying with one hell of a great model I am really flashed by this! Great sound and great flight skills! A little bit of a bouncy landing at first but hey landing is an art for itself ;) you'll get there best wishes!

They could stick custom made 2 more prop blades though but also with a bit lower pitch angle so that it only need to rev quite lower while kicking more air. Overall, the plane was so realistic and pretty goddamn beautiful with the almost same sound of the V-12 especially on the end part that it is just flying slowly and it moves on the ground pretty smooth and not really bouncy at all.

I love your bird, however I have a question as to why under powder it sounds good but when the power is pulled back, it sounds very rough?

It does sound real at the end

Tommy, Great work on the plane. Did you have to modify the firewall to get the engine to fit? And did you go with the LE long edition or SE short edition of the engine?

Was that an auto starter. I've never saw one before. So cool! !

You are correct, that’s an electric auto-starter 😁

A little rough on the landing. I had to learn the same on my Stang. Fly it into GE and then back off the power. After hearing the ending in the mid range, I was cringing at the go around.

What propeller size are you using on the Kolm?

Sounds more realistic, doesn't it? Why the two blade prop though? It's a great effort and who ever flew it is a good flier

Somethin about Mustang gear doors! Took the inner doors off my 1.5m because they flapped at full throttle.

It's a straight 3 cylinder Kolm 150cc engine.

Thanks Tommy for the camera, edit, publishing ! The Kolm is not my goto choice for a warbird, at lest not the 3 cylinders. But I really liked the totally planned touch and go at the end :D

Thank you. I think the KOLM 150CC engine is great at idle and full throttle, but due to the nature of a 3cyl inline engine, it seems to not run as clean in the mid register as I would like. But hey, I would totally not mind owning a cool sounding multi cylinder engine if I had a warbird like that 😁 Cheers!

But why a 2-blade prop?

I have an adjustabe 4blade prop but never tested it… i think with a motor like this i want maximum performance and power so thats why i use a 2 blade:)

Judging how its creaming those low passes, I think it's a bit underpowered....

Nice plane but horrible engine !!! I had the same and lost plane after engine failture

Nothing sounds quite like a Kolm…..nothing.
