Went out there just recently on a very dry weekend. On purpose tho cuz I just got a tacoma. It’s my personal, but also my work truck which means I didn’t prioritize 4wd and it was the best deal. Overall really beautiful and quite. Had a friend in a more proper tacoma with me as well. Some of the trails were closed, but I went through some very mellow mud and did the whole gravel outer loop. I do have plans for the truck to make it as able as possible for a rwd. Watched many videos. Definitely gonna pick and choose my weekends, but can’t wait to make this truck something cool than can actually be put to use. And I’ll always have a partner with a snatch rope anyways, so I’ll make it anywhere🤣

I’ve been off-roading there and was pulled over at the very end. I told the cop we were just looking for trails to have a little fun in some mud, nothing too crazy. He relied with “so your the ones that are tearing up our roads!”. He told us to leave and that we needing hunting licenses to be there. However, we drove by a cop right when we got there that was parked right off the entrance to the very first main trail and he did not make any effort to stop us or saying anything to us. This was about a year ago so I’m curious what the legality of driving on those trails are because I’m really confused. I thought it was a state park meaning anyone can just drive there.
