I like her voice too but it used to throw me off so much since she sounds older than she looks/is. It feels like she is being dubbed at first. Love her though :)

Carey is so well-spoken and calm and an absolutely brilliant actress.

One of the most beautiful and down to earth actress I have ever seen! Got an amazing accent!!

She is a true actress.

She acts but what she shows doesn't look like acting. She looks real, which is absorbing. I, a 70+ old man, had a few favorite actresses in the past. No new favorite since 1980's. Recently, I found her in the movie, " The Dig." After a few other (older) films of hers, I entered Carey Mulligan in my (very short) list of favorites. She is now at the top. I believe she would be the last in the list.

People who are famous loathe the lack of privacy that comes with it.

Hall is unbelievably good she's Cate Blanchette level. Check her out in "Parades End"! The Standard today is so unspeakably high much higher than ever before arguably.But so many do meet that standard e.g. relative unknowns like Laura Pulver and Natalie Dormer this list goes on and on. Probably 100s except we don't know their names.
