The presenter of the program said everything about the paradigm shift in our undergraduate curriculum. The idea appears fine. However, it appears that it needs to be fine tuned to be tailor-made to suit the SPECIAL SOCIOPOLITICAL environments of our college campuses. I am not aware to what extent our academic community is ready become a part of the paradigm shift. Where teachers cease to become continuous and committed leaners, how are we going to implement the shift. That is the following most important components of the system i.e. the academics and the environments need reorientation to implement the process. How many of our college teachers are proficient in delivering a full throat lecture in good english for at lest 45 minutes with above average content with proper articulation and delivery? I am sure most of them are neither trained nor motivated as there's no system to assess their capabilities and / or in capabilities . Are our colleagues equipped with sufficiently funded library and laboratory infracture. What about the sociopolitical environments in the campus. Many more. Positive side is certification and flexibility of the academic process.
