She is so underrated as a player. Great defender and is a crazy good 3pt shooter behind Clark. My favorite player of Iowa besides Clark.

Her looks got me to watch. I'm sorry to say. Her play, especially her defense & the way she dealt with adversity , made me respect her. I respect Gabbie Marshall as a woman, ball player. & Person. Good luck in the future

Marshall is fantastic defensively. Quick hands, relentless pursuit. I hope she pulls the trigger more next season.
Clark is the marquee name, but I love Gabby.....love Gabby....
Gabbie is under rated she plays great defense and she can shoot a 3 point shot very well God bless you Gabbie and I enjoy watching you play as well as the whole team of Iowaadies basketball !! Gabbie has the shot form and the follow through goose neck that she place her hand in the bucket at end of the shot that is why she is so accurate!!!
Marshall never seems to drive anymore. She had some good moves as a freshman. Now her shots are all open threes or open layups off assists from Clark.
Loved watching that team
at 4:30 "maybe fifty fans here ..." Can't say that anymore. Love seeing Gabby at her best.

About 4:25 in the announcer said theres about 50 fans there. They went from 50 to 17 000 watching them practice to 17 mill watching their chamionship game

Serious question, is there anywhere I can watch all of their old games? I absolutely fell in love with this team. I would watch them all from over the past five or six seasons, if I could. It would be so much fun to do.

@@HannahDisponett I love Gabbie but her threes have been a little erratic this year. Hot in some games, ice cold in others. I want her to be more assertive. As far as her holding back, yeah, I'll give ya that but it's to Caitlin. I can't fault her on that.

Gabbie does not get the attention she deserves. She flies all over the court with so much energy. Like a jumpimg Jack! I'm reminded of that popular quote, Big things come in little packages. When Gabbie is on the floor, I just cannot taKE MY EYES OFF OF HER!

She basically gave up her possible pro career to allow Caitlin Clark to take over the scoring chores at Iowa!! She was a great defender and still had a lot of steals, but she shouldn't have given up her scoring skilks.They should send this video to all the WNBA teams to give this girl the chance she deserves!!

Welcome. You came at the perfect time of year for college bb. @wnba is going to be a lot more competitive. Is there a university bb league in UK?
Strange because she has another year in her career at Iowa?
I believe if she had not been on the court with CC and with any other team Gabbie would have been a prolific scorer and easy draft pick.
I've seen comments that she plans a career as an occupational therapist. If that's true, I wish her all the best. But if I were in the NBA, I'd draft her if she was to declare next year or the year after.

Gabbie Marshall has cat quick hands. Tries to swipe the ball from the blind side. Kate Martin called Marshall “relentless.” Go back and watch Marshall’s 36+ minute games (e.g., Nebraska, LSU, UConn, …) …. And has a very pretty 3 point shot. Marshall’s scoring in 2023-24 might be down but this could be because this year’s plan seemed simple: get the ball in Clark’s hands. Wouldn’t you not put the ball in the hands of an all world player? And Hannah Stuelke got better. Be jealous of Gabbie Marshall because she got to facilitate and at times watch from better-than-court-side POV of history being made. This was 2022-2023 season. This season Gabbie Marshall added to her highlights with a couple big blocks and forcing a moving screen foul.

I always thought Gabbie's defense may get her some consideration from the WNBA.
A KZread video "Female Steph Curry" Gabbie Marshall class of 2019" shows Gabbie playing high school. She is much more aggressive, drives the lane, makes 3's with a quick release, gets to the line. Everything changed at Iowa, has to be the coaching IMHO ????

Gabby lives in her opponents Jersey, so the 0pposing teams offense has to plan offense to deal with Gabby. She is assigned to guard their playmaker.
