CARE TIPS FOR GAZANIA FLOWER PLANT | I almost killed the whole plant!
I looked everywhere for the gazania plant but strangely they are not in plant stores. So here they are, I purchased the seeds online and decided to grow them from seed. Gazanias have such beautiful blooms and you can get them in pinks, white, yellow and orange.

It's strange but over here no one is selling the plant i am not sure why. I have to buy the seeds to plant myself

Can you explain how to prune? Will they bloom more than once a season?
A bud is grown in my gazania but it's not blooming, it's been 15 days... what to do? It was the first bud of my plant

hi. I did pinch them when they are growing in seedling stage..so they will double up and not be thin and tall you see. And if the flowers are fading, best to cut and that will promote new growth sooner.

Gosh i wish i had seen this video before my gazanias had died...i got them as a gift and made two fatal mistakes...i watered them every day and i used liquid fertilizer on them....how often would you suggest i water them? Once a week instead of everyday?

Actually for water sensitive plants u can use more porous potting medium so tht when you water ...the water will run through well. This way for some people watering daily would not be any issue. Another alternative is to check your soil first b4 water. If the top soil still wet..u might not want to water. Use a stick to dig in to see if it's wet. Some ppl use weight to decide on watering. Light means dry soil..heavy means wet. I guess find what works best for you.
