Since the Treetops care home on St Clements Road in Keynsham closed down in 2018, there have been repeated attempts to redevelop the site. An application to demolish the building and build 39 flats was dismissed by the planning inspector in April 2022, and an attempt to get permission for 30 apartments on the site was turned down by Bath and North East Somerset Council later in the year.
Now Treetops have submitted a new planning application to knock down the building and build 36 flats on the site. The self-contained flats would be in two three-storey buildings on the site of the former nursing home. read more if u want www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/br...
