I'm a clinical educator in Respiratory Therapy and am adding this to the viewing links I give my new orientees to PCICU, with a strong recommendation to watch it multiple times. The segment at the end on negative pressure ventilation is also excellent in thinking about Glenn and Fontan physiology. Thank you.

Hello, Dr. Rettig and team. I thought that this lecture was absolutely fantastic. I FINALLY understand pulsus paradoxus fully!!! The way that you walked through each of the fundamental concepts and then put them together piece-by-piece was awesome and very easy-to-follow. I especially liked that you essentially have "mini-reviews" in the lecture where you recap a particular concept or section before moving on to add more information. The multiple means of presentation - visually with graphs, mathematically with formulas, written with bullet points, and of course, verbally all served to allow learners who feel stronger in one area versus another ingest the knowledge in a way that was most accessible for them as an individual. The examples were salient, incredibly practical, and offered something for everyone - be they community, ER, floor, or PICU. Thank you again (and Happy Holidays!!).
