Matagal na kasi nung huling nanggaling sa Italy ang Santo Papa kaya gusto nila Italiano naman ulit. The pride of the Filipino is Cardinal Tagle but that is just pride and it has no place in the Holy Catholic Church. Be a Filipino Pope or a Pope from Nigeria it would not matter - the successor of Saint Peter and the Vicar of Christ may come from anywhere so long it is the Will of God. So do not politicized it. This is specifically addressed to the mass media that tend to blow things out of proportion to gain ratings.

With the exception of Card Ratzinger’s election. He was really a top Pope contender who entered the Conclave and came out as Benedict XVI.
