Cardiff to Mountain Ash Wales UK - In search of my family history

On this trip to Wales, Steph and I are going in search of where my grandmother on my dads side was born and where she and her parents lived until they immigrated to the United States. '
Part to the trip is going to take me to the small town of Mountain Ash, about a 50 minute train ride from Cardiff to look for the Morgan's. Then we will explore the northern areas around Bangor in search of the Evan's line.
I'm excited to explore this part of my family history. Thanks for watching and hope your travels take you somewhere exciting!

Hi, I was born in Mountain Ash and knew some of the people in your family tree very well. (I also know a lot of the brothers and sisters in the video too). I Lived in Consort Street until aged 5 or 6 and went to live in Cwmbach, Aberdare. At age 19 I found the truth and have the privilege of being related to you in faith to this day! Thanks for this lovely video

i walked through St John's Churchyard a couple of days ago to the Green Street Library.. I did not know of any American connection but it is recorded that the churchyard had been used (overused) for centuries. In the nineteenth century a priest refused to officiate over a burial because it was situated directly with a previous, unconnected, committal.

I lived in Mountain Ash, The Gore family were not too far away. I lived in Gladstone Street then Edward Street

Thanks Gus! We are now in the north part of Wales up in Anglesey seeing where our Evans line are from. It's beautiful up here.
