@@civiluptodate1580 x=+-1,+-5,+-7 and x=-5 will make it zero so divide the equation by x+5 to get quadratic equation. That method far easier than cardan's method. In American system we use long division and then quadratic formula. Seems easier. British Cambridge system also follows our system.

Hit and trial method is good but in some cases the initial value of x is big, so in that case this method is also handy.
