@@nunyabidnazz2311 thank you so much, unfortunately both are beyond the veil. I never knew my maternal grandmother she died when my mom was a young girl and her father died when I was in my late teens. Divination is in my blood for sure!❤

Dear Ana, I have been using the tarot for 3 years now, but the thought of using a normal card deck for divination has been a very attractive concept. So, I entered a forum to do some cartomancy researh and saw your videos and book being recommended as a primary source for studying. However, what blows my mind is that you also use geomancy along with the cards, and I happen to be studying geomancy for the past weeks! What a coincidence! I am very happy I found your channel and I am definitely watching the rest of your videos! Take care!

Ana Cortez Hello Ana. No worries about it. My cartomancy skills are rather humble at the moment, but I enjoy it very much. I have also been studying traditional astrology. As you said with geomancy, it is always a good sign when different systems overlap, it just makes things more exciting. I still think your resources are some of the best around. Regarding to what you explained in the video about Lady cards, I think your idea is similar to Tarot cards system that adds Knight suit cards into the Tarot deck. The Knights are more like Jack cards. Then Tarot changes the original Jack to Knave or Page will be male or female.

tarot is 78 cards... so, 6 x 13... could be putting lunar cycles into base 6 (hexadecimal rather than binary)? and... if you minus one card from each suit but keep the entire major arcana you then have 6x12, which coincidentally leaves you 74 cards into which 666 divides 9 times exactly. going a lil further, remove 1 card from each suit and one from the major arcana, we now have a deck of 73 cards into which 365 divides exactly 5 times. ;)

I'm not sure if you will ever read this but must try. Haven't done cartomancy before but yes to tarot (yrs ago). Bought a new deck. While watching a movie tonight shuffled the deck and then intentionally forced cards opposite direction as it felt I should. After 45 minutes looked at the deck and EVERY single card was in the upright position. This cannot be?! How? Wasn't paying attention, just wanted to get feel of cards. Has this happened to anyone else?

Geomancy is an excellent form of divination, using different patterns of dots drawn in sand or with a pen usually, but it is not at all similar to Feng Shui or Vastu Shastra. However Ana Cortez weaves in the geomancy into the playing card spreads in a very helpful way that provides a complementary set of data for a more comprehensive divination.

Hello, Thanks for the video! I like the way you matched the weeks of the year with the total of poker cards, but what about the jokers? I think those are representations of "The fool", which is a card full of meaning. Should we remove them?

Hi Francisco. Thanks for commenting. Yes, I agree, fool card is full of meaning... and for certain layouts that make use of the cards as a lunar calendar, yes, it needs to be removed beforehand. It is possible, however, to pull out and use as a signifying card. Works very nicely this way, or if you're not working with the calendar of course no need to remove.
