@@marionemberson Omg Marion took it out the box this morning for the first time and I manged it yayyyy....but my clear plates are etched so badly with the imprint from the dies. Any idea why it's done that. Xx

@@karenmclaughlan9128 yay, well done, it’s ok it’s what happens, it’s the blade part of the die cutting into it, just flip and rotate the plates and you’ll get longer out of them, I’ve had some for a year and I still get cuts out of them, also you can just use one for the cut side, keeping the other one lovely 😜😜❤️❤️

Do you work for Wow? Great masculine card! I ❤️ the tip near the end about slicing the top of a packet to avoid sticky adhesive closure!!

Hi Kristine, I do, only 2 days a week and only because I absolutely LOVE the product. ❤️❤️ I got so fed up with things getting stuck as I was trying to put things back in and then the sticky would become unbearable sticky, so decided to slice across the top, it’s so much better. ❤️❤️

Marion sorry to be a pest lol I've just received my new Sizzix A4 manual shape cutting and embossing machine. I honestly don't have a clue where to start. Don't know what plate goes where lol and where I put my card etc etc. I also bought separately the Sizzix emboss and transfer set. Which is even more plates lol 😭😭😭 I'm so confused please help x

Hi Karen, the big (thickest) plate should have instructions written on them, have you got those ? It’s generally the big plate followed by a clear plate then the card stock, then the die and another clear plate. I’m not sure what the emboss and transfer set is 🤔🤔🤔🤔, if the above doesn’t help have you looked up your machine on you tube, so you can see it in action 🥰🥰🥰

Try the ‘sandwich’ I said, it should be fine, if you feel a lot of resistance then stop, make sure your card and die isn’t close to the edge as it won’t go through, and when you are running it though you’ll hear a loud cracking, don’t worry, it’s normal, I promise xxx

@@karenmclaughlan9128 hi Karen, that sounds slightly different to mine, I have 3 big shots, 4 if you count the big shot Switch 🫣🫣 I’ve just gone up to my studio and looked at my regular one and it’s the big thick plate, followed by the thin die adapter then the clear plate, I actually use the chrome precision plate, but it’s a similar thing, card stock die then clear plate, try that xx

I wonder whether you are able to share a link to your video on Julie Hickeys page. I follow her and I think a lot of her followers would get a lot from your video. I’m afraid I’m not sure what the etiquette is for this. Hope you don’t mind me mentioning it x
