Continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials have been widely used in many fields such as the automotive industry, aerospace, military industry, and electronics due to their light weight, high stiffness, and high toughness.
Continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites (CFRTP) are high-strength, high-rigidity, and high-toughness composite materials that use continuous fibers as reinforcing materials, thermoplastic resin as the matrix, and are manufactured by melt-impregnating the thermoplastic resin.
Optional reinforcement materials include glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, plant fiber, and basalt fiber. The resin matrices that can be selected include PP, PE, PA6, PA66, PC, PET, TPU, PPS, PEEK, etc.
Depending on product performance and molding requirements, the form of reinforcing materials can be unidirectional or fabric.
