I saw a few carbon fiber tripods for $70-$150 oddly... granted they're not known name brands, but they are highly rated.

Lots of people get caught up in name brands. If it’s a good deal and works, that’s all that matters.

It gets mighty cold up here in Canada and I was looking for a review that talked about the temp difference between the two! And finally, here it is!! 😄 I’m actually not a hunter, just a photographer that likes to head out for night shots, and when it’s -45c outside, that tripod can freeze your hands very quickly. Great review.

Thank you! It definitely makes a difference. It’s hard to shoot a gun or a camera when your hands are frozen!

Great video, I really appreciate it man. I couldn't find a video this straightforward about Carbon vs. Aluminum Tripods. Also the hook on the center for the tripod, I never knew was a thing. I am happy I found your video. Question; What bag are you using to hold the rocks?

Great review. Carbon Fiber is great but for us it is better to get the cheaper aluminum and get 3 or 4 of them and send guys in different directions to locate more animals. 2 times as much money but you dont save half the weight, only 1 lbs of savings. I do like the new head but I am not sure I like the twist lock handle (yet to be determined)

Definitely valid points. I'll take you on my llama hunt where we have to carry these things 7 miles back to camp and then every day from there, then you might want the carbon fiber. LOL

@@ehuntr512 I have been 13 miles deep into the Uintas with mine!! No worries, I guess I must just be tougher then you!!! Lol

As you know personally, I'm a carbon fiber fan. Landing gear, wing tubes and tripods :)
