Makes me glad my 84 700 magna is running great.

I took my magna to a shop to rebuild my carbs. $1300 later and it runs much better. Id like to think i could have done it myself after watching your video. And all the hose fittings have plastic zip ties. I think 1300 was way too much. Uggg

5:07 is the choke plunger that he is installing and struggling with. I find it much easier to leave the actuating rod off, and install the plunger, then plunger spring, followed by the retaining cap. THEN, put the end of the rod with the spring in place into the the eyes on the carb body and then rotate the rod with the hooks catching the groove on the end of the plunger. After that, slide the plastic sleeve in from the end, and then install the linkage bracket and retaining nut on the end of the rod. I have 83 and 85 V65 Magnas.

Free Tech advise! Honda V4 Carbs! I love this! Thank You!! We love these carburetors! They literally helped Paid off our house some years ago! ...and all three Sons kicked off independently this year as our youngest is a US Jarhead now...with all due respect to y'all So, the Titles mine also, years ago anyway. I suppose give me a voice to say such things about our Marines, because I know how misguided we all can be and thats why we are also called Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. Bahahahahahahaa . Back to the bikes and Honda V4 Carburetor call Dana & Billy if you need sone help with your carbs and you can share how you made the video and put it on youtube. Barter is good. So, YOUR tech advise is welcome. Thanks again for this video. Billy Carr and Dana thank u because i have been searching hi and low for ur number'. Its been close to 20 years ago u all rebuilt my carbs on my 83/84 v65 Was a 84 frame bottom end engine with the 83 carbs. I Live in okc drove to Dallas and bought a tank side covers and a seat from a guy then drove to ur place in Canton, and don't remember if i dropped off the carbs off or picked them up but what i do remember on the way back to okc that night we ranintonthe biggest thunder storm of my life. ANYWAY im rebuilding them and need parts , i will hit ur web site and thanx for ur outstanding devotion for ur love of this wonderfull v4 honda. thanx jeff thomure yukon ok.
