I suggest you become one of the gun suicides just to show how much you support them by becoming one of the millions you have killed over the years. Do you know that more deaths by guns total more than all the soldiers your sad country has lost, in wars, from 1776 to today? If you can't bring yourself to commit suicide, just go out and shoot up a bunch of schoolkids in their classroom.

Even though you basically assemble the inside each time, this is a "tent" trailer I would sleep in! For overnight in rest area, quick setup, no overhang, solid sides. As a single older woman, I would feel safer sleeping in this than in my vehicle. And a potty to boot!! No midnight run to public restroom! WOOHOO!

A-Liner campers are similar but larger. This Origami can be towed with almost any vehicle & would probably cost less. It's nice.

Un très beau projet, et bien mené. Tant de rangement dans un si petit espace, pourtant tout l'espace est utilisé. Facile à remorquer, facile à reculer, facile à garer. Vous avez travaillé dur là-dessus, je peux le dire. Bon travail. J'espère que vous apprécierez de nombreuses années à vous déplacer dans votre monde.

Hello, this was exactly the idea prevailing, building a very small folding caravan for one person, occasionaly two. Easy to tow, easy to Park, which Can be opened and closed effortless in a minute.

I applaude your idea of combining the teardrop concept with the Avan/Aliner concept. Awesome!👏👏

A very clever design - just an awning with a side panel to shield the stove, and then a ground mat - or also make an enclosing tent for the back. Otherwise it's a perfect 1 or 2 person camper & sets up very easily - well done !

Hi, l Indeed made an awning with a side panel but this does not show in thé vidéo. I even tried a fully closed inflatable awning which double the caravan surface but then thé original spirit IS Lost. The leading Idea IS small and quickly installed/folded ready to go. Thanks for your valable comment. I Can send you picts of the awning.

I've always liked these lightweight, simple, economical, hard sided travel cabins, and they're nicely equipped. The outside kitchen makes good use of space, as does the tongue box with its double doors. Easy to tow and manoeuvre, they're a very pleasant place to be, thank you for your lovely video.

You could still cook inside if it’s rainy or frigid. Obviously with care taken and easy/quick meals.

Are these available in the USA? This is one I would actually get! Most foldout ‘tent’ trailers you cannot open in overnight rest areas, this one could be! As a older woman, I would feel safer sleeping in this than in my car! Best yet, a POTTY! No midnight runs to public restrooms! Woohoo!!

Voici une belle invention ! moi aussi, je suis un passionné des caravane pliante ... comment vous dire simplement. des Esterels évidements, des André Jamet avec leur système de pliante toile avec un toit qui se monte, des jamematics ... des jamets des anglaises, des Erka des hollandaises... le ras le bol de ma tendre épouse qui n'en peut plus de changement de caravane tous les ans ... que voulez vous, j'adore ça. alors évidement je vous comprends. et comme vous je vais passé à la réalisation, mais je me positionne sur le point de départ, quelque chose qui est lié ou indépendant. voilà quand j'aurais vu ça, je serais ok. avez vous vu cette deux CV avec un plateau camion ? cdt

Je souhaiterais trouver un industriel intéressé par la fabrication et lui vendre le prototype, les plans et l'assistance pour démarrer une fabrication. J'ai beaucoup de retours positifs et cela répond à une demande pour un équipement de voyage, principalement d'une personne ne souhaitant pas investir dans un van ou un camping car, avec les contraintes que cela représente. Avec origami c'est le minimum en dimensions mais avec un très bon confort. Cordialement JP FEVRE

Bonjour, merci pour votre appreciation. J'ai testé un auvent gonflable plus large le toit de la caravane, avec une extension du rail de part et d'autre. Cela fonctionne tres bien mais c'est un gros sac de plus à transporter et du temps pour le montage. J'ai des photos dispo pour cette solution.

This can be done, a webasto diesel oil heater, for safety or for the fun, a marine stove with folding pipe exhaust, hihihi

Bonjour, le concept est très intéressant, j'ai donc quelques questions et quelques remarques : 1/ Ce modèle est-il voué à être commercialisé, si oui, quand, avec quel délais et à quel prix ? 2/ Le défaut des caravanes pliantes est l'infiltration d'eau. Quel est son système d'étanchéité ? A-t'il été éprouvé et de quelle manière ? 3/ C'est bien de pouvoir mettre une glacière à compression indispensable à l'autonomie, mais son alimentation électrique de manière continue (durant le trajet et pendant le camping) est aussi indispensable, est-elle prévue et comment ? 4/ Comment sont faites les parois ? (matériaux, isolation, revêtement, etc...) 5/ Je vois un gros défaut dans la conception des bacs de rangement, du moins dans la fixation des deux bacs l'un à l'autre. Ce qui les relie est un crochet qui tire uniquement sur le haut des bacs, si les charges sont lourdes l'action unique sur le haut des bacs crée un moment important ce qui multiplie la force appliquée ce qui ne manquera pas de créer une casse. Il faudrait que l'action s'applique sur la base des bacs. N'y voyez aucunement une attaque, juste un fort intérêt de ma part. Cordialement, Gilles.

Bonjour Gilles, merci pour l'intérêt que vous portez à ce projet. C'est le résultat de l'expérience acquise avec deux caravanes Esterel ces dernières années et 12000 km en Scandinavie en testant une autonomie soit par gaz, générateur essence ou panneaux solaires. Malgré la liberté pour le camping sauvage en Suède, nous avons finalement opté pour les terrains de camping qui ont tous une alim électrique à chaque (grand) emplacement d'où un frigo qui fonctionne en 220 v au camping et est dans la voiture (12 v) en déplacement. 1) Je souhaiterais vendre cette caravane à une entreprise pour la fabriquer et commercialiser. Le prix est de 15000 euro avec batterie, chargeur, chauffe eau Truma 220 v, frigo et chauffage 220 v. Toutes les parois,toit, plancher, sont en sandwich contreplaqué marine 5 mm,mousse 20 mm,contreplaqué peuplier 4 mm, collé pu, extérieur protégé par résine époxy + peinture polyuréthane. Les bacs de rangement sont sur roulettes, le système d'accouplement est une cornière PVC, et a l'avantage de pouvoir séparer les bacs. Ça fonctionne très bien dès que le premier bac est un peu chargé et c'est strictement le même montage que pour l'esterel ou ça n'a pas bougé malgré une utilisation intensive. Pour l'étanchéité, il y a bien moins de points de jonction exposés à la pluie que sur une Esterel,car seulement 3 murs au lieu de 4 et un bon recouvrement du toit. Pour les points articulés c'est similaire à Esterel, et si bien entretenu pas de soucis.

Looks nice wonder if its possibe to tow after an Honda Gold Wing ? Is there any ventilation for the fridge oterwise it will be overheated

Hi, maximum permissible weight of the trailer 500 kg. Empty weight 380/400 kg. If your Gold wing can pull that load, why not?. The width of the caravan is 1,85 m. Regarding the frige displayed on the video, it's just an example to show the size of the tongue box. Of course there should be ample ventilation provided should you install it there. Personnaly, I put it in the car when on the road and near the kitchen at camp. Best regards

Hi, with a bed size of 1,96 m long and a width of 75 cm expandable to 1,15 m any average person would be comfortable to sleep in. It's bigger inside than it looks.
