You could name your caravan Princess for Pageant Princess or Princess Pageant. Don’t forget you can check the lights before going, you can also get a device to quickly check the lights etc on pre checks if you are by yourself. All the best on your journeys.

Hello I don’t know if this will work as our spare is under our bed. If you lower the front jockey wheel as low as you can. You might be able to slide the spare wheel carrier out without jacking it up. I remember fitting jacking points to our twin wheel caravan and lowering the front gave me a lot of clearance to do that.

You saying that made a good point I lifted the jockey wheel all the way up after weighing the nose 😂 I will give that a go and let you know how I got on 👍

We called our last Bailey caravan "Bunty Bailey" as we had some bunting up around front inside windows 🙂

Nose weight of 85 with a max of 90 should be good. It’s all to do with the towing stability. But remember that the gauges are not 100% accurate. I would aim for 80ish to give 10% tolerance.

you should work based on it being between five and seven per cent of the caravan's MTPLM (Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass). For example a caravan MTPLM of 1400kg, the nose weight would be 70kg at 5 per cent or 98kg at 7 per cent.
